Read moreAl Mahara Diving Center offers diving trips to the crystal clear waters of Abu Dhabi and further east to the Mussamdam enclave. You can discover sharks, dugongs, sea turtles and other unsuspected wildlife. The depths are not very deep in the Arabian Sea, so this is still a fairly easy trip. For those who prefer to snorkel, there are also excursions available. It is possible to take courses to obtain the Padi. Paddle, kayak and several motorized water sports are also available.

PUBLIC BEACH AL BATEEN
Read moreThis beautiful beach is nearly 800 metres long and faces the bridge that connects Abu Dhabi Island to Hudayriat Island in the residential area of Al Bateen. A huge parking lot, several refreshment and food outlets make this public beach an ideal outing. It has also been awarded the Blue Flag by the local authorities. There is a water sports centre where you can hire a paddle or jet-ski for a spin. Lifeguards are on site and volleyball is available.
