Finding the launch site is like orienting yourself in a construction zone, so make sure to note the access map.

Fabien Hermel is French and has lived in Abu Dhabi since he was 3 months old, although he did take the liberty of living in Sri Lanka for a while. He opened the emirate's first wakeboarding center. Since then, he and his team have been offering a wide range of water sports activities.

Al Mahara Diving Center offers diving trips to the crystal clear waters of Abu Dhabi and further east to the Mussamdam enclave. You can discover sharks, dugongs, sea turtles and other unsuspected wildlife. The depths are not very deep in the Arabian Sea, so this is still a fairly easy trip. For those who prefer to snorkel, there are also excursions available. It is possible to take courses to obtain the Padi. Paddle, kayak and several motorized water sports are also available.

Small round electric boats for a safe and eco-friendly trip on the Mangroves. 6 people can sit around a table and without an attendant. The boat moves very slowly and silently, for the joy of the youngest and the oldest. To go a little further, small electric boats for up to 10 people can move inside the mangroves to discover their ecosystem populated by many migratory birds and at a speed of 12 km/h. You can take your picnic with you.

Yellow Boats leaves from Yas Island to offer you different speedboat cruises to discover the amusement parks, part of the Mangroves, the spectacular circular skyscraper "Aldar HQ" or the Corniche skyline from the turquoise waters. It's a great way to take pictures, a fun way to see some of the 200 natural islands that make up the emirate of Abu Dhabi and to discover the most beautiful views of Abu Dhabi. We recommend the tours around 5pm, as the light is less bright.

The gathered paddlers take you on the foreshore of Bani Yas to discover the mangrove, an ecosystem richer than we think and fascinating. The woody plants plunge their roots into the mud, the fauna is interesting and the lagoon superb. Bring a bathing suit, a t-shirt, a cap and a good pair of sunglasses. Sun protection is recommended to avoid sunburn even in the early morning. Towels will be provided just in case. A very nice excursion from the age of 6.

This beautiful beach is nearly 800 metres long and faces the bridge that connects Abu Dhabi Island to Hudayriat Island in the residential area of Al Bateen. A huge parking lot, several refreshment and food outlets make this public beach an ideal outing. It has also been awarded the Blue Flag by the local authorities. There is a water sports centre where you can hire a paddle or jet-ski for a spin. Lifeguards are on site and volleyball is available.
