During the summer, the vessel Dragin KG 212 takes you to the famous bird cliffs north of Klaksvík and north of Kunoyarnakk. On board, you will discover the life of the sailors. And you will be served soup and coffee. The boat can also be booked for deep-sea fishing. Dragin is primarily a training ship, but the general public has the opportunity to enjoy it too. This project of saving a historical sailing ship goes back 25 years. This boat can be taken on deep-sea voyages to Scotland, Iceland or Norway.

If you have the sea legs and heart of a Viking, then welcome aboard this magnificent sailing ship. The very friendly Captain Birgir owns a beautiful schooner, moored in Tórshavn harbour: Norðlýsið or "Nordic light". She was built in the shipyards in 1945. This kind-hearted sailor organizes sea trips, shark fishing and even dinners in the ship's hold. The authentic Faroese atmosphere and delicious fish caught during the day await you on board.

On board high-speed motorboats, with music blasting from the on-board waterproof speakers, you will discover the spectacular caves of Nólsoy, the island south of Torshavn. The round trip from Gamlaraett to Hestur Island includes the tour of the island. Slowly, you get as close as possible to the birds under the cliff, Loftið, whose vertical wall is about 300 meters long. If time permits, you can also navigate through the caves, Álvagjógv and Klaemintsgjógv. You can also ask for a tailor-made tour.

If you want to try diving, the Faro Diving program is for you. It's easy and accessible, and it doesn't take long. Before the dive, the instructor will review the basics of diving: equipment, safety, signs... When you are ready, the instructor will lead you into the underwater world. Bubble around in the islands' cavities, a fantastic experience! You will be able to pass your first level, and for the more experienced, explore underwater caves at a depth of more than 30 meters.

If you like adventure, Actionboat Føroyar is a great option for you. The company organizes sea trips aboard zodiacs (6 people on board). You'll sail along the west coast of Suðuroy, discovering superb caves and sea stacks.

Rent a sit-on-top kayak for all levels (experienced and inexperienced). Explore the beautiful surroundings from a different perspective, while enjoying the fresh sea air.

Beautiful two-hour hike, approx. 6 km. From the Tvøroyri hospital, climb to Ovari Vegur and continue left towards Trongisvágur. After about a kilometer and a half, you'll come to a field gate. A sign indicates: Hvannhagi. From the summit, magnificent views of Lítla Dímun, Stóra Dímun and Sandoy.

After a 20-minute walk, you reach Grindin, from where you descend to Hvannhagi. The area is renowned for its interesting geological phenomena: giant rock avalanches or rockfalls dating back thousands of years. This area is called Dysjarnar. You'll come across many sheep. Small circular lake along the way.

Then on to Frostgjógv, a gorge in the southern part of the valley. At the bottom of the gorge, a sheepfold. A few meters after the sheepfold, you'll see the Tvøroyri path where you walked earlier to Grindin. Return to the starting point.
