It all started with the experimental brewery and the idea of brewing new types of beer. Then food was added to the project. Established in a beautifully restored 19th century metalworking factory, this brewery restaurant stands out for the originality of its menus prepared with traditional products that go well with homemade beers. The dishes are hearty, pork belly served with apple sauce or lobster with its cauliflower purée. The vegan menu adapts to the rhythm of the gardener and his vegetables.

A large Franco-Danish brasserie under the patronage of the second Secretary General of the UN, photographed with John F. Kennedy, dominates the stylish dining room. The café area is more relaxed. In the morning, you'll be served hearty breakfasts and a variety of teas and coffees. Depending on whether you come for lunch or dinner, a variety of dishes are available à la carte. The classic recipes are prepared bistro-style: salads, remoulade, moules-frites, open-faced sandwiches or appetizing burgers (always well presented).

Salt Bar § Restaurant is part of the Admiral Hotel. Its particularity: a modern cuisine known as fusion: Scandinavian specialities are mixed with French or Asian influences. The menu changes every quarter, a sympathetic bias whose aim is to maintain an effect of novelty for guests who would like to come often. In this cosy setting, the evening continues at the bar, especially as dinner cruises or jazz lunches are also organised... In short, a nice opportunity to break the routine!

In half basement, this elegant restaurant has the wind in its sails! Warm lighting, long tables d'hôtes and high chairs, an address in the popular (but trendy) Vesterbro district where it's good to meet up, renowned for its gastronomic menu. A very pleasant microbrewery located a stone's throw from the Latin Quarter, Rådhuspladsen Square, in a beautiful 17th century building. A new concept was born there: "the new kitchen of Danish beer". Let's hear it! The pleasure of taste around a locally brewed beer and traditional gastronomy. We start by visiting the facilities and then we sit down to eat. On the menu: oysters, grilled sausages, matured beef... Vegetarians are not forgotten, a menu is specially concocted for them. To be tasted: a seasonal cuisine nicely prepared!

Housed in the Workers' Museum, this "old-fashioned" café has been in existence since 1892 and offers excellent smørrebrød, beautifully presented as a buffet, as well as Danish specialties such as the traditional rhubarb crumble with whipped cream(rabarberkage). It's even better when washed down with a local beer from the Braunstein brewery! All in a fin de siècle atmosphere. When the weather's fine, a smørrebrød van, which was very popular in the city in the 1920s and 1930s, is back in service. Take a seat at the carpenters' tables!

The clientele of the "little" Oscar café is a charming mix of students, residents of this somewhat upscale neighborhood and tourists passing through. But all of them like to settle down in the room with a very bistro decor for a lunch break. Various sandwiches, smørrebrød, mixed salads, burgers with crispy fries... Everyone will find something to suit their appetite. Possibility to eat on the spot or to take away. A tiny terrace is set up on the sidewalk, the street can be busy but the address is lively and friendly.

A pretty, charming café, ideally located on the edge of the harbor, where you can take full advantage of port life from the terrace, which is very pleasant on sunny days. The menu features simple, family-style seafood dishes: herring prepared according to a variety of recipes, salmon and sole from the Strait, shrimps, fish and chips... Two beautiful dining rooms set in large verandas, entirely glazed like greenhouses, offer a bright, convivial space, all the more appreciable when a shower approaches or the wind invites itself to your table!
