LA GLACIÈRE DES ALPILLES

A little ice cube for drinks? The Saint-Rémy icebox should be classified as a public utility. Indeed, what could be more destabilizing than running out of ice cubes an hour before the arrival of guests?
So, here, no fuss, no fuss, but a perfect welcome and real empathy for the ice castaways. And that, every day of the year, Sunday morning and holidays included - yes, those are the days when the fridge breaks down. By the way, don't miss the wonderful ice machine dating from 1936.

VANILLE NOIRE

With two locations in the Panier district, the Vanille Noire ice cream parlour has been a sensation in Marseille for some years now. With its original creations (Beyrouth night, incredible), creaminess and genuine originality, we highly recommend a stopover. The value for money is excellent, and the ice creams and sorbets are handcrafted with passion. An adventure that began during a trip to New York for the creator of Vanille Noire, and continued in Marseille, much to our delight!

In summer, the streets of Arles can turn into a real furnace. So what better way to beat the heat than with a sorbet made from fresh fruit? Gourmandise and lightness are Soleileils' winning formula. Ideally located near the Place du Forum, this ice cream parlour offers a wide choice of ice creams and sorbets, with something for everyone! Not to be outdone, the flavors change with the seasons. And all served with a smile! Vanilla and melon!

LE MISTO

Glacier
3.5/5

The establishment changed hands in 2018. Mathieu and Michael are now in charge. Both have decided to make Le Misto, a friendly place that combines flavours and happiness, as they themselves say. The staff is smiling and welcoming, the ice cream cups and cakes are excellent with, as a bonus, a very beautiful view of the Etang de Berre. The menu is really overwhelming and the prices are quite correct.

LE GLACIER DU ROI

Glacier
3.5/5
6 reviews

With two locations in Marseille, including the historic Panier, Glacier du Roi has built up a fine reputation over the years. With its production laboratory visible from the store, the emphasis is on the artisanal side of production, with inspiring flavours: turnip, apricot verbena, mango... Sorbets and ice creams are available in scoops and cups, as well as in large quantities with containers so you can take them home with you. The only snag, and not the least, is that the prices are not cheap, being higher than those of other artisanal producers in Marseille. And yet there's an explosion of flavors in these ice creams, which lack a little taste. As for the addition of Chantilly cream, billed at two euros, not to mention the plastic cups which, while attractive, are thrown away once the scoop is finished, it's all a bit clumsy and not too up to date ecologically speaking on the last point. A great success thanks to its location and the many tourists in the area.

LA GELATERIA DES GOUDES

Glacier

This is the gourmet address that the little Goudes district has been missing. It's the place to go for refreshments after a day of rock-climbing on your way back from the Baie des Singes or Callelongue. A true Italian-style ice cream parlour, with ice creams and sorbets made 100% in Marseille by Jérôme Cellier, in his workshop at l'escale Borély. In addition to a choice of nearly 20 flavors, you'll find homemade cookies, shuttles (Marseille oblige), crêpes, waffles, milkshakes... Last but not least, there's the Sicilian brioche topped with scoops of ice cream and whipped cream. A moment of pure delight.

Homemade ice cream made by a master craftsman with fresh products. Served generously and with a smile please! We love the panettone, orange flower and lavender flavors. Also try the Camargue mare's milk ice cream! If you have time, opt for a cup, especially the Narcisse with its chestnut ice cream, ganache and chestnut cream. You can also enjoy sweet and savory crepes throughout the day. Ice creams, pancakes, waffles and drinks to taste on the spot or to take away. Yummy!

What a brilliant idea to take ice cream where you least expect it. La Mignonne is a mobile ice cream parlour, mounted on a scooter. An eco-responsible project created from scratch by Julia Falzon, a young woman full of ideas and, above all, capable of creating ice creams with astonishing sweet and savoury flavours. Endoume's new ice cream parlour has just arrived, to the delight of young and old alike! First of all, we like the look of the store, with its sleek, modern and inspiring interior. Milk strawberry, vanilla pecan, caramellia, mint choco or pistachio, sorbets such as green apple, blood orange, mango, white peach or passion fruit. Handcrafted ice creams, sundaes and amazing 6 or 12 scoop boxes to take home. Quality and aesthetics, the kind of address that's been missing in this seaside neighborhood.

MAHBOULE

Glacier

At the very bottom of the rue d'Aubagne, in the part of the Noailles district that is the most dynamic in terms of shops, a brand new ice cream shop has opened, bringing a sweet touch that was missing in the surrounding streets. Born from the adventure of three associates, Mahboule plays with the meeting between good ice cream and the Mediterranean. Like the flavors offered, pistacchiosa, caramel salt of Camargue, hazelnut of Piedmont or stracciatella ... The ice creams are from the Tuscan house Casalini. A treat! In addition to ice cream, delicious waffles and pancakes in winter. Nice place, clear and elegant with a grocery corner. It remains to be seen if the clientele of the neighborhood will respond but the project is beautiful.
