Not only does it serve succulent, artisan-roasted coffees from its on-site burnery, but also absolutely delicious bakery products such as sourdough breads, viennoiseries, cakes like the carrot cake, and so on. You can also grab a quick bite to eat, such as the ham and cheese croissant or the venison turnover.
FROMAGERIE MÉDARD
Read moreA family-run cheese factory that produces, among other things, aged cheddar, fresh cheese curds of the day, cheese spreads and the famous 14 Arpents, a soft farm cheese that is recognizable by its square shape and its orange washed rind. Its creamy paste is tasty and has a mild hazelnut flavour. For those who prefer a milder taste, the Rang des Îles is an excellent choice with its soft, tender crust. In the bakery, breads, pastries, specialty coffees and regional products are on display.
CHOCOLATERIE DES PÈRES TRAPPISTES
Read moreOnce a confectionery, the Trappists became owners in 1944 before officially incorporating the chocolate factory in 1978. Its reputation now extends beyond the borders of the region, and people come from far and wide to obtain their delicacies, especially the dark chocolate-covered blueberries, the monastery's flagship product. The place is part of the Artisans à l'oeuvre network, so you can enjoy a real interpretation experience on site.
LA MAISON DU BLEUET
Read moreEstablished in its new headquarters, La Maison du Bleuet works with organic wild blueberries and transforms the chocolate in an artisanal way. The result is a whole range of gourmet products: dried blueberries coated in milk chocolate, blueberry caramel, blueberry onion confit, blueberry and rhubarb spread, blueberry port jelly, blueberry green tea... The house also makes cosmetics such as handmade blueberry soap and wild blueberry enzymatic scrub. Gift shop also on site.
