Things to see and do Aisne

Those who do not want to miss anything from the municipality will be able to go to the Hotel de Ville, founded, like the St. front chapel, by Queen Jeanne of Evreux in the th century. The marshlands of Liesse-Notre-Dame are a beautiful preserved natural space. One of the city's emblematic places. Saint Vincent's tank is a huge wooded area, shaped by the two arms of the upper city. The Mill of the plain was originally a flour mill. It consisted of two wheels, one on each side of the river until 1838, when an application for authorization was filed to transform it into one wheel. On the death of the owner, in 1914, the activity was managed by his widow, who could not prevent the bankrupt from entering the 1920 s. Acquired a few years later by a company (the large mills in Marle), it became the largest mill in the Aisne, with production of more than 400 000 quintals per year.

You are here on the central square of the municipality. It was here, once, that the Lord of Marle or his squire made justice. Still a church with singular charm. It is neither immense nor majestic, nor is it surprising by its simplicity and authenticity. The St. Martin's Church of Apple is divided into several parts: a nave, a two-turret choir, a collateral and a steeple. These different parts were built at different times, giving the building its atypical appearance. The first span dates from the end of the th century, the second of the th century, while the nave and the little collateral date back to the th century. 

From this church you will have a significant view over the whole village. It was built on a hill in the th century. First, there is its imposing tower tower, before focusing on its architecture in the Latin Cross: a nave with two sides and a transept, extended by a small room. In the west of the building, there is also a heavy wooden door that is open only at the major ceremonies.
