LE TRANSAT

Pub
5/5

Where do Piriacais and holidaymakers meet in the evening to have a drink in a friendly, warm and festive atmosphere? At the Transat, of course! Exposed stone walls, fireplace, piles of frames and other objects hung at the four corners of the bar. So many trinkets that tell the story of the pub and its regulars who have been there. Mandatory stop at aperitif time, not sure to come out soon!

JOHN MCBYRNE

Pub

No, the bartender will not serve you because you have to move to the bar, as in any Irish pub that respects itself! Here we really think of the wood tables, the low ceilings, the lighting lights and the beer still and always! All servers have this small, so charming accent, and the Irish and English community is a follower of this nantais site known to all. There are many students and the atmosphere. The terrace benefits from the pedestrian streets and the rugby matches are particularly interesting! To you Guinness and Mc Ewans… Unless you are no longer Bushmills or Tullamore?

LE DOCK YARD

Pub
2.2/5
5 reviews

A good atmosphere in this typical Irish decor. The terrace is covered with old barrels, drums, bags of jute cafés, which we are looking for. Inside one would think in an old galion, decorated with rigging with its masts, sails and ropes… We drink beer and whiskies… Irish, of course! Taste the famous Beamish beer. Experience sports events on giant screens. The Dock Yard program is very complete and is not limited to Irish music concerts! Indeed, the house opens its stage to musicians of all kinds. The weekend is reserved for the benefits of the DJ that will give you the desire to dance until late in the night! You will find the program on their Facebook address!

DE DANNAN CELTIC PUB

Pub

It is in the warm breath of wood that we welcome you in this typical Irish pub. A student population has already invested the place for convivial and original evenings! On the menu, demented shows, festive song, rock, folk, blues, and jazz groups and even the cabaret way of the 30 s, in brief to Dannan, nights follow and do not look, anticipate a right of entry which remains entirely affordable. The frame is cosy, also think not to arrive late in the evening, to enjoy the best squares. A terrace is open for 16 hours, guaranteed in summer! The atmosphere is at the rendez-vous and we are constantly watching the stage set at the bottom of the bar where surprises are followed, from theatrical improvisation to concert. Good map of affordable beer: Guinness, Kilkeny and Grim, 1664, White, Coreff and cider. For the traditional shushen and whisky, the services of the charming bartender still need to be called! But above all, the Dannan intends to set itself as one of the future high places of the alternative scene Nantes with its already famous Irish Sessions, every Friday evening at 22 pm, for a weekend of the most festive. As you will understand, the pub seeks first to focus on the atmosphere and benefits offered, for the greatest happiness of its visitors.
