Completely renovated in 2020, Les Halles bring the town centre of Cahors to life. It is a tradition, all year round, Montcuq comes alive around the gourmet stalls of its very friendly Sunday market, renowned and ranked among the 100 most beautiful markets in France. More than a hundred local producers meet there. In summer, the market is assisted by the local producers' market on Thursday mornings, in the shade of the chestnut trees along the promenade. You will find many typical products of the region: honey, wine, goat's cheese... The village has three car parks on the outskirts so that you can park easily.

Beautifully gathered in front of the cathedral with its colourful tents and its good products, the market of Cahors allows you to meet some producers. A superb market that has kept its authenticity and that smells good the South with its stalls of spicy olives, flowers and local products. Local producers and craftsmen are honored in a warm atmosphere. Place Chapou is the kingdom of bargains!

The Cahors market has been taking place at the foot of the sublime Saint-Etienne cathedral for 700 years and in all weathers! When you arrive, you will see the multicolored stalls filled with delicacies, from traditional merchants (butchers, pork butchers, greengrocers, fishmongers...) to local producers (Rocamadour cheese, duck producers and Cahors wines....). But above all, it is the atmosphere of the South that prevails: family, friendly and authentic, you will have the opportunity to exchange with the producers to learn more about their products!

Figeac also organizes its night market of local producers. On the Place Vidal, this festive, family and musical event is a must in summer. With more than 20 craftsmen and women, come and taste regional products in a friendly atmosphere, with a choice of products directly from the producers' stands: foie gras, duck breast, truffle, confits, aligot, sausage, Rocamadour AOC cheeses, fouaces... not forgetting the Cahors wine!

Under the ^18th century market hall in Martel in the Lot, it is on Wednesday and Saturday mornings that market gardeners, breeders, producers and street vendors offer you their local products. Enjoy a tasty stroll between the stalls to let yourself be carried away by the scents and colors but also to fill your basket with delicious local specialties: plums, Rocamadour cheese, Quercy melon, saffron, farm lamb from Quercy, walnuts from Périgord, foie gras but also Cahors or Coteaux du Quercy wine.
