Jean-Marie's workshop is located in the Maison du Pays Messin in the Guard Pavilion of the Château de Courcelles. It is a place of information, awareness and animation around sustainable development open to all. Various themes are addressed: the fight against climate change, protection of biodiversity, energy saving, mobility, waste sorting, etc. Depending on the workshop, your child or you, depending on the theme, will learn in a playful way an aspect of sustainable development. Whether it's a workshop on anti-waste tips and recipes, decorating with natural objects, making a glass forest or a land art walk... A great initiative!

The Collectif Art association, formerly Dada, founded in 2000, is involved in the development of Brazilian and hip-hop culture around capoeira, batucada and hip-hop dance, not only in Metz but throughout the Lorraine region. The association has won several national and international dance competitions. Capoeira classes are held on Wednesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. for children at Les Arènes de Metz, on Wednesdays from 8 to 10 p.m. for adults at Les Arènes, and on Fridays from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Saint-Symphorien gymnasium, also for adults. Batucada classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-10pm at the Saint-Symphorien gymnasium. Hip-hop dance classes for children are held on Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm at Les Arènes. For teens and adults, they take place Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday mornings from 10am to 12pm at Les Arènes. At the same venue, dancehall classes are held on Saturdays from 4pm to 5:30pm. The association also offers batucada and capoeira dance shows, so don't hesitate to contact them. Come and share the art of capoeira and batucada dance with us, in a spirit of joy and good humor!

The Opéra-Théâtre de Metz Métropole is one of the first theaters built in France, and the oldest still in operation. With a capacity of 750, it offers a varied program of opera, ballet and theater.

Tip Top TAP: an activity full of percussive promise, offers a journey to the wonderful land of clapping, with a discovery of the different techniques used in tap dancing, from the magic moments of the American musical, through the Irish art, but also using tap as a percussion instrument. This timeless art combines physical exercise with a playful hobby and represents a very complete enrichment by developing balance, coordination, listening, memory, concentration, creativity, space management, group life..

Sixty tap dancers from 10 to 80 years old come from all over the region to share their passion, every Monday and Tuesday evening, according to five levels of adult classes, a children's/teenagers' class, workshops, training courses, etc., at Loisirs et Culture 11 bis rue des Couvents in Montigny-lès-Metz. In response to the enthusiasm for this activity, Tip Top TAP is offering a beginners' class for the next season: Tuesdays at 7:15 pm. Trial classes are free and without obligation. Christiane Demesy will teach you how to highlight the plants, create sober, rhythmic, asymmetric arrangements, according to appropriate techniques.
