A concert hall dedicated to contemporary music in Metz, the Boîte à Musiques (BAM), which can accommodate up to 1,115 people, is located in the heart of the Metz-Borny district. A modular venue, it also has a balcony that can accommodate 300 people. Its large, bright hall and its astonishing openings to the outside make it a unique and remarkable venue with architecture by Rudy Ricciotti. The programming is eclectic and open to all genres, from jazz to experimental, from reggae to world music... On concert evenings you can enjoy a drink at the BAM bar. As part of the "Metz en Scènes" project, BAM also supports the musicians and project leaders in their initiatives, and provides them with administrative and artistic support, including three rehearsal studios and a 100-seat stage area. Those looking for the temple of beer in Metz should head straight for the statue of Saint-Louis. It is certainly not the saint who will serve you a drink, but here you are next to the bar. The atmosphere is festive and lively, and it is difficult to come across expressions of boredom on the terrace or in the bar. With a reference of 500 beers in stock, 200 beers ready to be served on the tables and about ten draught beers, it's quite something to drink. To be discovered in lager beers: the Barbar, the Chouffe or the Averbode..., in amber beers: the Delirium, the Gulden Draak... But beware, they can be treacherous: soft in the mouth but strong in alcohol. With moderation of course!

The Tram is a third place composed of three distinct spaces: a municipal music conservatory with a 120-seat auditorium, a youth and extracurricular reception area and finally a performance hall. The Petit Tram offers fun musical shows to awaken children (from 5 years old) to the sounds of different instruments. The literary aperitifs put forward stories and portraits on a theme. The actors of the DEST theater company lend their voices to paint a society that resembles us.
