Between Margeride and Aubrac, close to Ganivet Lake, Sandra and Bashir warmly welcome you and offer quality cuisine based on local products. Gilles, original lyonais is now on the orders. Marlène and Raphaël arrive from Var. Passionate about travel, they set their sights on this small hostel between Mende and Aumont away from the main traffic routes. That is fine. Raphaël has taken us into friendly and local cuisine on the menu: snails, persillade lamb chops, fresh saussice, duck magret and, finally, a delicious white cheese with grout of raspberry. The reception is pleasant on the sunny terrace. 

A hundred metres from the wolf park, Maëlle and Thierry offer, in their beautiful panoramic room, local cuisine that adapts to all tastes. For the pressed, the express base from 8 € gives the choice between a hot goat salad, a peasant salad or the dish of the day (only midday in the week), the ceps aux and its salad. Traditionalists will certainly appreciate the gourmet menu and its great classics: Pan-fried foie gras, fricassee fricassee, ris from calf to mousserons.

This is a family business that is just a family case. In the furnaces, Jean-Pierre is found in the physics of rugby player - Michalak to not name him - at the service of Nicole who is also his mother-in-law. There is also fast dining (burgers, kebab, wraps, omelettes) and accommodation options (4 beds).

Located at an altitude of 1,343 m on the Route des lacs, this charming relay offers a menu typical of Buronniers. The traditional aligot is very well prepared and will certainly delight you. Raw ham from the assembly, homemade pork liver pâté and good local cheeses make up a typical, gourmet and tasty meal. The pretty terrace offers a beautiful view of the surrounding nature that you will be delighted to discover after a short digestive break.

Flanked on the southern slope of the Aubrac, the small village of Les Hermaux is worth a visit for the beauty of the site and for this family establishment, a meeting place for lovers of traditional good food. The welcome is a family affair here: you don't put leg-rings on it, but a very natural simplicity in unison with good household cooking. Trout and local charcuterie invite themselves to your table, while the aligot des Vergnet could be among the best in Aubrac.
