Raphaël, a former sommelier and epicurean at heart, has just taken over this cellar, offering a wide selection of wines (300 references) from Languedoc, Côtes-du-Rhône, Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Loire, as well as foreign wines. A few favorites include Domaine Jeff Carrel's Les Darons, a red AOP Languedoc wine, a blend of several terroirs from very old vines. A concentrated, mineral wine with fine tannins. Also biodynamic wines. Wide choice of whiskies, rums, world beers and rare spirits (200 references). Thursday afterwork tastings. Oenology courses and taste workshops by prior arrangement. In this pedestrian street, friendly and lively - known as "des prisons" - the "Cave au Vin Vivant" is a meeting place for fine people where you can find a nugget of wine, share a glass, chat with regulars, and enjoy a concert that livens up the evening. Leave Montpellier and follow the Larzac foothills into the heart of the Hérault valley. A pleasant path leads to the terraced vineyards of Montpeyroux, a village-castle nestled in unspoilt garrigue. It's here that the renowned wines of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, Languedocs d'altitude, Terrasses-du-Larzac and Montpeyroux have been produced since 1950. These wines have long had the ambition of obtaining "cru communal" status, supported by the region's 21 cooperative wineries.

Jean Guizard and his team continue this address's tradition as a wine and spirits store. From 60-year-old vintage Armagnacs to whiskies, rums and beers, the store is well worth a visit. On the pre-alpine funds, this land of terraces is suitable for vines. The co-operators produce wines from renowned countries and des Coteaux-du-Languedoc Terrace du Larzac. Often noted: La Cardabelle, with a beautiful purple colour that reveals a nose of ripe fig and spices. Well structured, it remains in mouth on a pleasant fruit taste. At the Chai du Languedoc, discover exceptional wines and products. For more than 30 years, Martine and Denis Andrieu have been sharing their passion for the arts of the table. A well known address for permanent tastings, especially under the patio in summer, but also for meetings with the wine growers of the Occitanie region. Of course, you can find wine at the property price, but also spirits, beers and a selection of delicatessen products from the region. Finally, the adjoining cheese shop will delight the taste buds of wine lovers.

A dress purple? A good balance? Fresh flavours of red fruits, spices? And why not of English candy! ? I love, I do not like: tasting is a personal adventure: Le Vinorallye, is that. Passionate about wine, however, it is in reference to a text by Pierre Autin-Grenier, entitled A glass of black wine, that Jacky Dumouchel chose this name. Its wine cellar is furnished with wines from the region and elsewhere, from AOC and VDP, white and red… Let yourself be guided by this wine lover, who will, of course, make you discover wonders such as the domaine de daurion. A member of «Les Cellars se Libya», it organizes every Thursday evening tasting evenings where new productions are unveiled.

Whether red, rosé, white, strong or sweet, you're sure to appreciate the wines of Saint Jean de Minervois. Fans of muscat petit grain come from all over the world: straw-yellow color with green highlights, powerful nose with a hint of lemongrass, quince, acacia flower and a lovely roundness on the palate. You'll also find muscat marc brandy, "Vendanges d'automne", dry muscat, AOC Minervois red and the cuvée de Muscat de Noël!

At the foot of the Gardiole massif lies the vineyard of La Cave de Rabelais, where the vines are planted with a single grape variety, the white Muscat à petit grain, spread over two villages, Vic-la-Gardiole and Mireval. The tasting area of the Cave de Rabelais is an invitation to enter the funny and generous universe of this whimsical character that was François Rabelais, who quoted this beverage that he appreciated during his studies in Montpellier, in one of his writings. Since then, time has passed and Rabelais' cellar still seduces fine palates.

In 1623, Pierre Mercadier planted the first vines. The estate, handed down from mother to daughter, was enriched with schist terroirs under the direction of Christine and Luc. The Clos Bagatelle coat of arms, a woman in armor, foretells an adventurous history. Today, Luc manages the vineyards, Christine, his sister, the marketing and Françoise looks after the estate and exports. A place where challenges are met in a spirit of complicity to offer fine, quality wines: AOC Saint-Chinian red and rosé, a white and Muscat de Saint-Jean-de Minervois.

Classified as AOC Saint-Chinian-Roquebrun and Saint-Chinian, with over 800 gold medals in ten years, the Roquebrun vineyard is located in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Park, 30 km north of Béziers. It benefits from an exceptional microclimate, enabling the cultivation of orange and lemon trees. Referred to as the "Little Nice of the Hérault", it is one of the Orb valley's most popular tourist destinations. This climate, combined with its characteristic schist soils, produces supple, elegant wines that are a benchmark in the Languedoc region.

It was in this house that Charles Trenet's father once held his office as a notary. Today it is the property of the Saint-Chinian wine syndicate and houses a rather remarkable producers' shop: more than 300 references of AOC Saint-Chinian are present there. What a treat! The house also offers introductory tasting courses and discovery tours of culture, tourism, vineyards and gastronomy ... Quite a programme!

Founded in 1935, the winery's vineyards extend over 4 communes and bring together the production of 180 winegrowers. A geological diversity of soils and a maritime microclimate characterize the wines, which can be discovered in the brand-new, modern and welcoming cellar. Gift ideas include the cuvée Vermeil du Crès, AOP Languedoc and dry muscat or a white chardonnay. Work has been done with a historian to promote wine tourism through discovery walks.

Following the merger of the Notre-Dame de Londres, Valflaunès and Saint-Mathieu de Tréviers wineries, the Vignoble des 3 Châteaux, formerly known as the Coteaux du Pic winery, is now one of the most prestigious in the Languedoc. The temperature variations between day and night, combined with the Mediterranean and continental climates, favor optimal ripening of the grapes and the presence of polyphenols, giving the cuvées their originality. These special, authentic wines express themselves with elegance, offering a unique experience.

Located less than 10 km from the Hérault capital, this cooperative winery brings together around 80 cooperative winegrowers who cultivate some 400 ha of vines. Created in 1947, it covers a vast territory that varies from gravelly hillsides to red earth, from garrigue soils to limestone gravel. This richness enables bottles full of richness and diversity to be lined up on the shelves of the Saint Georges d'Orques cellar. In total, more than fifty wines are represented inside, ranging from fruity nectar to powerful vin de garde. Note that a second cellar for direct sale is located in Montpellier, on the site of the former Celleneuve cooperative (10 rue de Gignac).

With a name that smells of sunshine and delicacies, Cellier des Cigales is a formidable ambassador for our precious terroir. The Maison des vins des Des-du-Languedoc is a beautiful showcase of what the region can produce in terms of divine nectar. Located in a 400 th and th century wine-grower, it offers a selection of more than wines and regional products. A Gustarium is dedicated to wine tastings in AOC wines in Languedoc and hosts training and development courses in the art of tasting. A restaurant, Les Cooks Vignerons, is also included.
