Located in the current town of Lattes, Lattara, an ancient port of the Western Mediterranean, was a place of economic and cultural exchanges. Discovered in 1963 by Henri Prades and the Groupe Archéologique Painlevé (GAP), the archaeological site, on 10 hectares, is to date a wonderful story of discoveries. An archaeological centre including a municipal museum, research laboratories, a documentation centre and an excavations house have been installed in the old Mas Saint-Sauveur, which belonged to the family of the painter Frédéric Bazille. Adjacent to the archaeological site, the museum, labelled "Musée de France" in 1986, invites you to discover the remains of the old city on nearly 1,000 m². Formed during a volcanic eruption 740 million years ago, the Mont Saint-Loup is located halfway between Agde and Cap d'Agde. From the top of its 113 meters of altitude, it offers a unique panorama. The "Sentier d'Emilie" which leads to the summit immerses the walker in a charming perfume of Mediterranean essences such as the scrubland of green oaks and almond trees. On an island, an 18th century military fort houses the Albert-Dubout Museum. The Ballestras Redoubt was dismantled stone by stone and reassembled in the centre of the pond. Attracted by Palavas as early as 1922, Albert Dubout had the gift of making the comic come out of any thing or situation. In addition to the drawings, the exhibition presents Dubout's personal objects (drawing table, pipe, correspondence with Pagnol and Dard...).

Built in the th century in the volcanic stone of Agde with a structure bordered in Venetian Venetian style, the covered square of Marseillan was renovated several times during the th century. This building has long been the main gathering place for the Marseillanais in markets and festivals.

After suffering from years and conflicts, the church's beautiful Baroque façade was restored in 1984, revealing its beauty to visitors. Inside, one can observe the presence of pieces inscribed as Historic Furniture such as the 19th century baptismal font and the great organ built in 1856 by Aristide Cavaillé-Colls. Surprisingly, the church's bell tower rests on a former watchtower, giving it a rarely seen silhouette.
