This 3-day show is undoubtedly the motorcycle event of the year in the Narbonne region. It was inaugurated for the first time in 2004. All the major brands and representatives of motorcycles, scooters, quads, accessories and services are present every year. Sporting events are also organised as well as demonstrations. This show is a must for any self-respecting two-wheeler enthusiast!

This festival re-enacts a key tradition in medieval history: "Las Claus de La Paumo" (9th and 13th centuries). At the time, the lord of the village had to take an oath before a monk delegated by the abbey of Lagrasse. The monk then gave him the keys to the village for a year, and in exchange, he promised the protection of the city. A great celebration would then follow... Since 2002, La Palme has revived this tradition! At the end of the ceremony, it's time to celebrate! On the program: bandas, bodegas, street shows and a closing ball.

Don't miss the olive festival in Bize-Minervois! During a whole day, it is the occasion to learn the secrets of the olive tree, from the culture of the tree to the benefits of the olive oil. On the program: demonstration of pruning and grafting of olive trees, conference on the cultivation and maintenance of the olive tree, great aioli competition, aperitif, lunch... The afternoon is devoted to occitan animations and the gourmet market. The day ends in beauty with the burning of the river, fireworks and concert.

What an unmissable event! This friendly sporting event takes place on the beach at Gruissan over 3 days. It's the biggest "touch" tournament on the Mediterranean coast, and you'll be able to watch some great beach rugby matches, but here, for more speed, less downtime and more spectacle, it's tackle-free! There's plenty of entertainment on offer too: beach rugby for women, children and teenagers, player autographs, concerts... A sensational weekend for lovers of the oval ball!

Notice to Sunday joggers and compulsive sportsmen! The town of Salles-d'Aude will host its Strides on 15 August. The program? A 10,5 km walk without difficulty, in town, as well as several children's tests in order to allow young people to participate. In short, an ideal event to put himself in a family or put himself back into a family, without pressure, and especially without sweating and water! So put the trainers and your brands together? Loans… Go out!

Organized every two years in the spring, on odd years, Peyri'Art is an ephemeral exhibition scattered in various galleries of the village. It presents the work of visual artists, painters, sculptors, drawers, photographers, comic book authors or authors of artists' books selected by a jury, as well as artists living in Peyriac. The opportunity for the public to discover rich and varied works, while discovering... or rediscovering the heart of this pretty village and going to meet the particular cellars of Peyriac-de-Mer.

Since 2009, gastronomes have had a new meeting, the Nuit de la Fricassée, organised by the association Les Fins gourmets des Marronniers, which aims to give this local dish its full place. The "Nuit de la Fricassée" brings together, from 6 p.m., all the specialities of Limoux, gourmet and folklore. Blanquette, chardonnay, pébradous, fricassee and beans, local cheese and honey, Limos, nougat, red wine and brandy are on the menu for an evening of bandas. Of course, the Basilian brotherhood of the "Capitouls" gets in tune and enthroned a few personalities before a carnival band, sharpens the curiosity of the guests who then dance until late at night.

The famous promenade des Barques, along the Canal de la Robine, has its festival! "Barques en scène" is the great festive event of the end of summer in the heart of the historical center of Narbonne. Organized over three days, it allows you to discover the city to the rhythm of bodegas and street arts. Every evening, a free concert is programmed on the big stage of the Cours Mirabeau, with known or to be discovered artists, wanderings and colored performances for all public.

In November, Narbonne hosts the Rencontres d'Archéologie de la Narbonnaise, a festival devoted to archaeology in all its forms. The event is articulated around a physical and digital program composed of conferences, round tables, film screenings, exhibitions ... These days are also the occasion for the awarding of the Documentary Film Prize, the Archaeology Book Prize and the Archaeology Comic Strip Prize. On line, the curious will find books and comics on the same themes.

Launched in 2007, the "Lâcher de Percussions" festival is managed by the Narbonne-based association Le Oaï. Free and friendly, the event wakes up the streets of Saint-Pierre la Mer during three days of festivities. In total, about thirty percussive shows take place in the heart of the resort during the last weekend of June. Static or ambulatory, they allow you to discover the richness of the world's percussion. Perfect to inaugurate the summer season with a bang!

This travelling festival of Grand Narbonne was born in 2011 thanks to a partnership between the agglomeration and the communes interested in the project. Its objective is to encourage the exploration of the villages of the territory and to promote the cultural diversity of the destination. Free of charge, it is divided into two programmes: "summer", from June to September, and "autumn", from October to December. These multidisciplinary events highlight local artists from a variety of backgrounds: music, theatre, comedy, etc.

On the occasion of the Book Fair, the general public will have access to literary and artistic meetings with a hundred French and foreign authors. The clearly stated objective of this event in Narbonne is to promote and encourage access to all forms of culture for a wide audience. Signings, readings, workshops, round tables, shows, exhibitions and other events are planned during this spring weekend.

Created in 1990 by Alberte Raynaud's contemporary dance company, Garrigue Danse Rivage, the Théâtre en garrigue is a magical place that is part of the cultural heritage of Port-la-Nouvelle. Situated - as its name suggests - in the middle of nature, its dry-stone den comes alive every year during a festival. Held from mid-July to mid-August, it presents a wide range of artistic creations: dance, music, storytelling, theatre...

Organized by the winegrowers' union of the AOC La Clape, the event takes place in the middle of the vineyards, from a vineyard of the massif. On arrival, participants are given a nice straw hat, a pouch containing cutlery, a tasting glass, a notebook and a pencil to immortalize each of their oenological impressions. The perfect equipment to measure the quality of the gourmet stops in the countryside, on this^3rd Sunday of May...

During the first weekend of the All Saints school holidays, the City walls echo battles of men in armour, valiant knights, traditional dances and songs, theatre. The Occitan culture is honoured around many activities with tales for children, treasure hunts, fables and craftsmen present in camps that are installed in Lices de la Cité, between ramparts. The festivities are beautifully completed with a huge medieval banquet in the Jean-Deschamps theatre.

This exciting museum bears the ancient name of the city of Bram, which was, in Roman times, the largest city on the Via Aquitania between Toulouse and Narbonne. With more than 800 archaeological items on display - a quarter of which have been restored - the permanent exhibition retraces the history of Bram and the West Aude from prehistoric times to the end of the Middle Ages. Divided into six themes, the exhibition takes you through a shimmering decor where tools, jewellery, coins and ceramics blend together. But the highlight of the show is undoubtedly the lapidary inscription of the Bram theatre. You will also discover the funeral practices used at the time, the organization of the rural area with its Gallo-Roman farms and villas, some of which are still in use today, as well as the medieval habitat of this region, which is distinguished by its circular villages. Note the organisation of temporary exhibitions and conferences, and the possibility to visit the research laboratory during the Heritage Days. For the record, the construction site of this archaeological house unveiled a segment of the Aquitaine way, a capital route of the Gallo-Roman era, around which the city of Bram was built.

Castelnaudary can't go a year without celebrating its cassoulet! The festival kicks off with the "ronde du cassoulet", a night-time walk and run, and continues on the following days with musical bandas, shows and concerts, a craft market, a cycle tour and the "Grande Confrérie du Cassoulet". Dance to the rhythm of the brass bands during the day, or dance the night away at the open-air discotheque, not forgetting to join in the corso fleuri, a grand procession of floats in honor of cassoulet!
