It is one of the highlights of Gruissan's sporting calendar: on the first Sunday in July, the town hosts the Barberousse, a 10.6 km run between Casino Le Phœbus and the Palais des Congrès, with the ascent to the Barberousse Tower as a major stopover. A hilly course, sometimes even rugged, varying between small roads, country roads and nature trails. You will have understood it, no time to get bored; so put on your sneakers and on your marks... Ready? Go away! Go away!
Price: 11 €, or 13 € on site.
Distance: 11.4 km.
Difficulty: medium to difficult.
Appointment: Place to be confirmed. Departure at 9am.
Other practical information: any participant without a licence must provide a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to running in competition.
For those who do not wish to run: hiking, Nordic walking and mountain biking.
