This fortress on top of the city walls is located at the northern end of the old city. The most massive of the city wall towers, it was completed in 1464 by Juraj Dalmatinac, after years of loyal service by Michelozzo Michelozzi. In the summer, it is filled with people during festivals and offers a breathtaking view of the old city of Ragusa in all seasons. It owes its name to the Menčetić family, who financed its construction.

The effort is worth the reward because once you reach the top, you won't forget the panorama.
