Fort of 37 m height built outside the walls, place of spectacles during the summer festival in Dubrovnik.
The highest point in the old town, the Fort Saint Laurent (Lovrijenac), outside the ramparts, was built (according to legend) in only three months in the 11th century. It offers magnificent views from the top of its 37 meters. Performances are held there as part of the summer festival in Dubrovnik. At the entrance is the famous Ragusan motto: "Non Bene Pro Toto Libertas Venditur Auro" (Freedom cannot be sold even for all the gold in the world).

Prix compris dans le billet des remparts. La vue sur Dubrovnik est imprenable depuis ce fort. Petit plus: saurez-vous trouver le graffiti laissé par un soldat de Napoléon en 1810?

Attention ne pas oublier que l'entrée du fort est compris avec le billet des remparts, sinon sur la partie haute du fort vous pourrez jouir d'une superbe vue sur le vieux Dubrovnik, les remparts et ses alentours, plusieurs niveaux à visiter, vraiment très beau.
