Back to the Neolithic… This walk in the departmental forest of Morval leads to a rare and penetrating testimony of the Neolithic civilization Seine-Oise-Marne: the covered aisle of the Bois-Couturier. The Soul Hole comprised the entrance of the funeral monument; the whole is surprising, so it is well preserved. Your path will then take you to another grassland, where you can not take advantage of picnic tables to taste a snack - well, of course!

The many activities on the leisure island make it one of the most sporty in the region, especially with its water sports and attractions. The park has made a point of innovating. You can find some exceptional equipment: a white water stadium (the first in Europe), a water ski lift or an artificial wave. Many of the park's activities are accessible to people with disabilities: catamaran, sailing, archery...

A local institution, the Ecole Municipale des Arts et de la Musique (more commonly known as EMAM) offers a personalized teaching program for each student. Divided into an "awakening" cycle (for the youngest) and then 3 cycles of different levels, the latter includes several compulsory activities: musical training, lessons and group practice. In addition to music, courses in the plastic arts (gouache, oil, pencil, etc.) are also offered.

The splendid Maison Ribot is the setting for the municipal music school. Over 400 students attend the school, which is run by 28 qualified teachers. Children and adults alike can learn or perfect their string or wind instruments, depending on their level, forming no fewer than 4 orchestras, each with its own musical style. At the same time, no fewer than 5 student choirs offer splendid performances in a variety of styles.

Located on the banks of the Seine, this leisure park boasts a wide range of sports facilities. There are basketball, petanque and soccer pitches, a dojo, a multi-purpose hall, a fitness trail and children's play areas. There is also a shooting club and a tennis club. With free access, these facilities are very popular in summer, when families come to picnic along the water's edge.

It is the largest karting site in the Paris region. The complex is composed of four tracks, two of which are for the youngest, and two circuits for adults: one of 1,200 meters, fast, and the second of 1,000 meters, more technical. Here, amateurs and experienced skiers alike are in the perfect place. The laps of the circuit follow one another in this unparalleled environment, and private events are of course possible, as well as dedicated courses. A club-house, a bar and a store, where you can buy all the equipment for the passionate drivers, complete the place.

Play soccer with dry feet, all year round and at a wide range of times! That's the idea behind Street, one of the region's leading indoor soccer centers! The principle is as simple as it is devilishly effective: you reserve your pitch (there are 5 to choose from, covering an area of 4,000 m2), choose the time slot and the duration. Please note that soccer training courses are also available for younger children.

EVA stands for "Esports Virtual Arenas", and the principle, unique to the Agglomération, is impressive: take a vast plateau of up to 1,000 m², imagine yourself equipped with a virtual reality headset projecting you immediately into a parallel world, but also with a connected gun, and here you are in an incredible universe, in which you can play, let off steam, scare yourself and have an unrivalled time. Of course, you'll have to do it in a group first. We highly recommend the experience.

Situated on the border between town and country, this vast equestrian center offers lessons, introductions - including some for the very young - private lessons, training courses and numerous competitions, whether you're an experienced rider or not. For horse owners, a range of boarding options are also available, with dedicated facilities to meet your every need. The site, run by a team of enthusiasts, also boasts an attractive clubhouse with a view of the riding arena.

Open from May to October, depending on the weather, the Herblay water ski club is a friendly association with a wide range of possibilities. If you're a novice and would like to try your hand, equipment is available on site. Under the aegis of the Fédération Française de Ski Nautique et de Wakeboard, you can try slaloms (on a branch of the Seine, to guarantee your safety), bi-skiing or monoskiing, or even towed buoys for the younger ones.

This great association offers locals and the curious the chance to get together several times a week to explore the local paths and trails. The first and third Wednesdays of each month are devoted to a ten-kilometre walk in the Montmorency forest, Friday mornings are devoted to brisk walking, Friday evenings to sustained walking and Sundays are devoted to hiking, two or three times a month. Discovery, sport and conviviality are the order of the day.

Housed for more than fifteen years in the splendid Maison Suger, the conservatory's 1,500 m² of floor space offers unrivalled artistic teaching in an acoustic environment designed to be of the highest quality. Early learning, music, dance and drama are all offered in 25 classrooms, 4 studios and a 123-seat auditorium. An excellent facility for local artists.

This bright and beautiful pool has two pools: one 25 meters long, the second 12.50 meters long. A wide range of sporting activities are on offer here, from scuba diving to aqua aerobics, aqua swimming and even water polo, the latter open to all age groups. Bright, with large bay windows, it overlooks this pretty residential area of Taverny. The pool is open every day.

This attractive pool features a 25-meter pool with several swimming lanes, allowing you to swim in complete peace of mind. Mostly frequented by regulars, its opening hours vary (like the other Val Parisis Agglo pools) according to the time of year, whether school is in session or not. A very pleasant bonus: the sunroof opens on sunny days, allowing you to swim in full sun. A grassy solarium is also available at the same time!

An aquatic center with such a pretty name is bound to live up to its promises: and that's certainly the case with Les Océanides du Parisis, located in Cormeilles. Here you'll find no less than three pools, one of them a 25-meter pool with 5 lanes, as well as a learning pool and a play area for younger children. Featuring large bay windows that let in natural light, the facility also boasts numerous relaxation areas, including a whirlpool bath, sauna and hammam. In fine weather, a lawned solarium is available!

What more beautiful setting than the banks of the Seine to fully indulge in the joys of water sports? At La Frette-sur-Seine, this association offers you a wide range of possibilities: from introductory sailing courses for 10 year-olds and upwards - supervised by a qualified instructor - to regattas (club or inter-club) and sailing (leisure or freestyle). These activities, which are offered in fine weather, are among the most popular in the area: logical!

Everything is handmade, according to the rules of the art and with a talent that everyone recognizes: the Little Lolie brand, located in Taverny, offers sewing creations that are unanimously appreciated, via a well-designed website! From baby accessories to kits, from the "Sakabouteille" to the "Cake Bag", there are plenty of ideas for you and your friends. The designer can be found at various events around the region: don't hesitate to come and meet her!

Take to the skies! The Centre Equestre de la Montagne is located on the edge of the forest on the Buttes du Parisis. Located within an Etablissement et Services d'Aides par le Travail (ESAT), it is run in part by people with disabilities, and offers a wide range of courses for beginners and advanced riders aged 4 and over, on both ponies and horses, as well as competitions and training courses, all in a great atmosphere.

The only skating rink in the Val Parisis conurbation, the Franconville skating rink offers a vast 56 x 26-meter ice surface, a paradise for skating enthusiasts. Open on Wednesdays and Fridays during the week, and for long hours at weekends, the rink is also the setting for a wide range of events, including skating to music. Gloves and helmets are highly recommended. There's also a bar.

A well-known club, ASH brings cycling enthusiasts together on a regular basis to practice the sport in a great spirit. Depending on your level and inclination, you can opt for the touring or road-racing version, and the association's manager, Jean-Pierre Ribourdouille, will give you the warmest of welcomes. Open to Herblays residents and visitors alike, the club also offers regular Sunday training sessions. At the same time, it is associated with the municipal cycle race, held every year at the end of April.

The Pierrelaye sports park is one of the largest of its kind in the Val Parisis conurbation. Spanning over 100,000 m², it boasts not only three soccer pitches, but also a fitness trail with twelve structures and a fitness platform. Every day, and especially at weekends, the various sports clubs meet here to play and work out in ideal conditions. Parking is also easy.

Inaugurated in 2020, designed by Geoffroy & Zonca Architectes, the new Ermont Conservatoire is a long, gilded vessel. In this modern showcase, you can learn, discover and perfect your musical, dance and theatrical skills, according to your age and level, with a choice of different formulas. A vast dance hall, twelve music studios and a 150-seat auditorium make up the complex, renowned for the quality of its teaching.

This brand-new facility was inaugurated in 2023: the ultra-modern curves of the Georges Hébert gymnasium conceal top-level facilities (said to be regional in scope), namely an omnisports hall, a dojo and a multi-discipline multi-purpose hall, each of which is fully modular. Competitions can be organized here, and a large audience (up to 800 people) can be accommodated. More than a year after its inauguration, we've lost count of the number of competitions held here!

This equestrian center is part of a larger network with several locations in the Ile-de-France region: located on the Buttes du Parisis, in a natural setting with views over the surrounding area, you'll find modern facilities here: the stables and arena have recently been enlarged, and the clubhouse is regularly full. Lessons, training courses and children's courses (from age 3) are just some of the possibilities on offer.

An exceptional setting: this stud farm is located on the edge of the Montmorency forest. The owners' stable takes advantage of the forest environment to allow riders and their mounts to ride in unrivalled natural surroundings. A beautiful arena and paddock are available. The welcome is excellent, and if it's your first time here, don't hesitate to take the plunge: there are plenty of possibilities, whatever your level, for a day or longer!

The La Seine à Vélo itinerary takes you from the capital to La Manche along a 500-kilometer stretch of the river, taking in incredible scenery and numerous small towns. On the territory of the Val Parisis Communauté d'Agglomération (which is "co-creator" of this route, also known as "V33"), La Seine à Vélo passes through La Frette-sur-Seine and Herblay-sur-Seine. The Val Parisis cycling plan includes the development of this route in the area: locals and cyclists alike benefit from it!

This beautiful equestrian center extends over 3 hectares: well served by roads, it is located in a rural setting yet close to the city. There are two riding arenas, a fine arena and other grounds for a variety of riding disciplines. You can take lessons here (from baby rider level upwards, i.e. for very young riders from the age of 2) in a wonderful atmosphere.

Here's a place whose name has the merit of simplicity: Le Galop is Sannois' equestrian center. Run by a team of enthusiasts and set in verdant surroundings, it invites you to discover the disciplines on offer or perfect your riding skills. Courses are offered over several days, regular practice is possible and, for competitors, the equestrian center is the setting for numerous regular competitions. Finally, if you own a horse, you can board it here.

You'd be hard-pressed to imagine the possibilities on offer in this huge 1,100 m² space: while the term Jump covers a wide range of options, it's not just about trampolines! Here, you can jump in all directions, dive into (foam!) cube pools, do tricks in complete safety, take part in regularly organized events (youngsters love it) - in short, sweat while having fun. On a different note, VEX also offers excellent virtual reality experiences.

This brand-new complex opened its doors in mid-2023. Named after a local sports figure, the 5,000 m² complex comprises two halls: one for volleyball and basketball matches (the stands seat 500), the other for training. Add a dojo and other miscellaneous facilities, and the modern facility is now a mecca for local sport: it's even set to host athlete training sessions for the Olympic and Paralympic Games!
