Christmas markets have been a tradition across the Rhine for centuries, but it's only in the last few decades that they've appeared in France - with the exception of Alsace. In the Communauté d'Agglomération Val Parisis, from the beginning of December onwards, you can visit a number of communes where markets and various festivities are organized to enable everyone to spend a timeless moment in specially illuminated surroundings. Eaubonne, Saint-Leu-la-Forêt and Sannois are just some of the towns involved.
