THE FEATHER GARDEN
Read moreA few kilometers from Rouen, lost in the Norman countryside, the Jardin Plume is a real haven of peace. Born of the imagination of Patrick and Sylvie Quibel, the place is intended to melt completely into nature. Winter, the garden rest, the flowers hide while waiting for the beautiful days, and only a few buises are out, prisoners of snow. Then arrive spring and summer, then the colors and perfumes invade the garden, with dozens of flamboyant varieties such as oriental poppies, dahlias or kniphofias. In June, take advantage of the "Summer Feathers", and in September, come celebrate "The Plants of Fall". An unmissable visit during your Normandy stay, but let Medor at home, he has no right to enter…

From July, and for two months, the Empress stayed here with his court of 70 people, made horse in the Norman countryside, often to the great displeasure of the farmers. TOWN HOTEL
Read moreIt was for a long time the castle of Harfleur, built in the 17th century by Pierre Coste, lord of Saint-Supplix, adviser to the parliament of Normandy. It passes from hand to hand and before being bought by the municipality. The industrialist Charles Schneider established one of his residences there. The building is special: completed in 1653, it is both Louis XIII style, with the use of ashlar and brick, and neo-classical style with its ringed and fluted columns on the main façade, topped by Corinthian capitals. They are not without reminding us of the columns of the main porch of the Saint-Martin d'Harfleur church and the Notre-Dame du Havre cathedral. The facade that now overlooks the gardens, however, uses the region's black flint, which is very popular in stately homes. It is surrounded by an English-style park, with a pond and free access.

The dovecote and the barn, where the mechanism of a late 18th century mill is hidden, decorate the park. This floral park is a beautiful place cultivated with passion, ideal for oxygenation and relaxation with the family before discovering all the other visual and culinary wonders of Offranville.

TEMPLAR FARM
Read moreVery well preserved and restored by a passionate family, this area is a beautiful and rare testimony of Gothic civil architecture. Located in the south-east of the abbey, near the forest of Roumare, the old farmhouse of white stone lost on the bottom of a road is first a templier manor (1449 th century) before being mentioned in as the dependency of the abbey of Saint George. She therefore had a hospitality and hospitality function for the abbey chaplain. In the Saint-Interceptors chapel, which was very reworked in the 1610 th century, and which lies behind the manor house, one can admire the 12 murals representing the apostles and women who have counted in mythology and religion. The master of the places will reveal the secrets of the strange pilgrimage that took place here… The well in the courtyard is one of the deepest of the Seine-Maritime, but according to the owners it does not hide treasure! The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful medieval garden and a fence of apple trees.
MESNIERES-EN-BRAY CASTLE
Read moreThe building comes from a distance! A victim of a major fire in February 2004, the castle was completely restored. The operation was worth it because this Renaissance book, erected in the sixteenth century by Baron Charles de Boissay, is actually a copy of a Loire Castle.
