Media Jura

This free monthly magazine, created in 1998, is full of practical information and news: sports and cultural agendas, lives of villages and towns, portraits of associations,... Every first Monday of the month, there is an edition for the Dolois area and a second one for Lons le Saunier and its surroundings. The distribution is done directly in the mailboxes, by mailing but also by the means of displays in numerous points of sales or information.

RCF Jura, a local branch of the national RCF network, was born in 1991 as part of the free radio movement. It quickly established itself in the audiovisual landscape of the Comtois as a local radio station, the only one of its kind in the Jura. It is thanks to the commitment of its volunteers that, for 30 years, it has been able to provide a daily program of local broadcasts by opening its airwaves to more than 1,200 Jurassians active in spiritual, cultural, historical, practical life, or solidarity fields. 6 frequencies in total. France Bleu Besançon is the local radio station of Radio France. A public service medium with a regional vocation. The programme includes local news, good tips, guests from the area, programmes devoted to innovation, cooking, gardening and reading. Games and a regional involvement that highlights the territory and the women and men who live there. The tourist sites are very well presented, the villages for example with a competition for the most beautiful in Franche-Comté... Every summer the resort organizes a contest where each day a Petit Futé guide is offered.

Hebdo 39 is one of the last paper media to be born in the Jura. It covers all the regional news, even extending to the Auxonne region in Burgundy. National topics are also covered. The plus of this support is also its classified pages where everyone can sell, rent or buy a property. It arrives every week free of charge in the mailboxes thanks to its important distribution network. Its agencies in Dole and Lons-le-Saunier are close to the people of the Jura who use this medium more and more each year.
