If this area is mostly known for its high concentration of go bars, there is also a very interesting night market in the middle of the Red District. It's a place for shopping where many stalls in a row offer cheap souvenirs, local crafts and above all many fakes. Be careful not to bring counterfeits back to France, it is strictly forbidden and heavily sanctioned. As the area is very touristy, you have to haggle hard. A night market to be reserved for adults.

Millions of T-shirts are displayed both outside and inside the Baiyoke complex. The quality of the products is random, there are counterfeits as well as branded clothes, the latest models and unsold items from the 1980s still packed. Also shoes, fashion accessories, textiles, bags, watches... The prices are among the lowest in Bangkok.

It is difficult to give an accurate description of the Sampeng Lane Market, located in a small alleyway perpendicular to Yaowarat Road, as this market is unique and varied. It is composed of hundreds of shops at least, stalls of all kinds, costume jewellery, household appliances, watches, phone cases, spices, fabrics, etc.... It's very simple there's everything and if you're looking for something very specific, this is where you'll find it. Come earlier in the morning, there are fewer people and it is not as hot.
