Jean Carmet's family home, a 15th century building, has been home to the Maison des Vins for more than 20 years. You will be able to discover the different vineyards and estates of Bourgueil or taste a dozen wines. Not to mention more than a hundred vintages sold at the estate price. You can also learn about the terroirs of the appellation and the secrets behind the vintages. All summer long, the Maison des Vins proposes in its Espace Jean Carmet an exhibition dedicated to the actor.

Wine here is a true religion. A religion whose proselytes have their feet firmly on the ground, fortunately. That's why, certainly, they have this red hue... The cellar has existed since the 10th century, around the castle of Chinon. It was Pierre Plouzeau who bought the family estate and who now perpetuates a unique and world-renowned - and often rewarded - know-how (as much for its rich and delicious taste as for its "organic" virtue). You won't be disappointed to discover this place dedicated to the good wines of Chinon! Visit this former troglodyte quarry converted into an ageing cellar. The best terroirs of the appellation are produced here: chinon, savigny-en-véron, beaumont-en-véron, ligré... More than 700 barrels and tens of thousands of bottles of the greatest vintages. You will find very famous wines: different estates are grouped together to select their finest products. In summer, remember to take a warm garment for the visit!

Under Amboise Castle, the wine tasting cellar includes the products of some wine growers in the Touraine-Amboise appellation Area. There are white, rosé, red and wines obtained from the Champagne method. Visitors are entitled to a free tasting offered with a smile.

Daniel Jarry and his wife invite you to take a refreshing break in their 70-metre-deep cellar, where you can also admire a collection of over 2,000 bottles, some older than others, displayed right on the rock. This vineyard is characterized by its chenin blanc grape variety, grown on a clay-limestone terroir. You can taste a selection of vintage wines spanning several decades, with exceptional vintages including 1989 and 1990. For special occasions, you can buy magnums, mathusalems (6 liters) and salmanazars (9 liters). Payment can be made by credit card.

Located on the edge of the Loire, the cellars date from the ^15th century. This troglodytic place is specialized in the old vintages of the Loire Valley. There is an exceptional wine library as well as a selection of wines from Vouvray, Montlouis, Chinon, Bourgueil and Amboise. A history and a land to discover through several proposals: sensory visits, 3D projections, tastings, oenological courses ... Amateurs or neophytes, everyone will be satisfied. Bruno Curassier, artisan winemaker for 25 years, warmly welcomes you to his superb estate located on the banks of the Cher, near the Château de Chenonceau. Discover his wine heritage in a large tasting room. We are very fond of the AOC Touraine Terroir de Chenonceau which is available in red, white, rosé and sparkling. The artisan winemaker takes care to respect the rhythm of nature. His mastery of pruning allows him to obtain high quality wines. They have been awarded several medals.

In the heart of the Loire Valley castles, this prestigious estate has been owned by the Duke of Choiseul and the Count of Chaptal. Today, Frédéric, Vincent and Willy, three passionate winegrowers, invite you to visit the vineyards and taste the AOC Montlouis, Touraine-Amboise and Touraine. All their products come from organic farming. Do not hesitate to visit the cellar but also the brewery, the three friends will share their passion and reveal some secrets of manufacture.

In this unusual cellar, François Chidaine offers winemaking styles that you won't find elsewhere. Biodynamic products, and wines from little-known, too little-known owners like Marc Angéli and his Anjou. Confidential" productions, necessarily limited in quantity, which also makes them rare. As for the wines of Domaine François Chidaine, the mellow wine is a reference. La Cave de la Sibylle, a former tourist cellar, will plunge you into the story of Sibylle de Panzoult, written by Rabelais, and into the dreams of Panurge, in an unforgettable setting and scenography. In the past, this cellar was used as a quarry for tuffeau, the typical Touraine stone. It is also a former mushroom farm. After your visit, don't hesitate to enter the adjoining store: 15 winegrowers from Panzoult and the surrounding area offer a tasting of selected AOC Chinon wines, accompanied by local produce.

This is an initiative of the ESAT des Chevaux blancs (Établissements et Services d'Aide par le Travail), which promotes the integration of disabled workers. The boutique features a selection of 40 wines from the vineyards of France (Chinon, Saumur, Saint-Emilion grand cru...), gourmet products and wine-related items. Located 2 km from the famous Château de Chenonceau, Caves du Père Auguste welcomes wine lovers. These family-run cellars are home to top-quality Touraine and Touraine-Chenonceaux AOC wines. During a tasting session with wine enthusiasts, you can appreciate the finesse of these local wines. You can also picnic on site, or stroll through the vineyards with a breathtaking view of the right bank of the Cher and the Château de Chenonceau. Recognized as a cellar of excellence, the estate will also win you over with the quality of its welcome.

Welcome to Plou et Fils, winegrowers and producers since the ^16th century in the Amboise area. Over the years, the estate has grown to cover 75 hectares of vineyards. The Gamay, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Cabernet Blanc, Côt and Chenin grape varieties are to be discovered during a one and a half hour visit with a free and signposted tour of the vineyard. To finish this walk, you will be able to discover the wines during a free tasting and why not visit the cellars in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

Since June 2018, the Maison des Vins de Bourgueil has opened its second address at the foot of the Château de Langeais and offers 12 wines for tasting with a wide choice of vintages among 180 references. You can find: light and fruity "gravel" wines, more complex and racy "tuffeau" or "garde" wines and rosé wines. Throughout the summer, fun activities are planned for a better discovery of the terroirs and wines in a convivial atmosphere.

Mr Pibaleau, who turns to organic viticulture, gets you in his field and will teach you the qualities of his white, rosé, red, and the crémant de Loire. The visit of the vineyard is commented on by the operator himself. Note, all vintages after 2008 are volatile, and the domain is in conversion to biodynamie. Discover the parcels all year round (except Sundays and holidays) and the different stages of vine evolution. Two tours are offered, a short 45 minutes and a longer 1 h 30. You can come to the family, a corner for children is built: a place only for them, with wine juice, is made available to them. You can then enjoy the wines in the cellar.

The Cave des Vignerons, located between Tours and Amboise, along La Loire, welcomes you in an extraordinary setting: nestled in the tuff stone, you will be arresting long corridors that have long been, for very long years, true treasure. You will discover dry, semi-dry, soft white wines, a traditional method of the Montlouis appellation, of several producers in the vicinity. All these independent winemakers (25) offer you wines from Montlouis-sur-Loire AOC. Love local wines, taste these various alcohols, prepared with passion with traditional methods. This family-run business doesn't own any vines, and works as a négociant-éleveur (wine merchant) from wines purchased as must at harvest time. The wines are aged in our tuffeau cellars. Vouvray is available to suit all tastes: dry, demi-sec, moelleux or méthode traditionnelle, Touraine rosé (méthode traditionnelle), Bourgueil, Chinon, Saint-Nicolas are all available, and there's no shortage of tasting advice. You can visit the cellars (free, by appointment) and watch the winemaking process. You're also invited to stop off at the souvenir store, where you'll find a wide range of regional products (wines, jams, Vouvray grapes, poires tapées, etc.), as well as gift boxes featuring wines and local produce.

The Véron vineyard is one of the oldest in Touraine. It is generally said that this terroir gives the wines of the Chinon appellation more roundness than those of other sectors or neighbouring appellations. In the 16th century, Rabelais already spoke of " this good Bretonwine which does not grow in Breton but in this good country of Véron ". Since its opening in 2004, in the center of Beaumont-sur-Véron, the vast and elegant Maison des Vins du Véron, remarkable with its cellars in the tufa stone with sculpted walls, presents and defends 23 winegrowers of the Véron region who benefit from the AOC Chinon. Here is a perfect address to be well advised and to mix your purchases with a varied composition of bottles, from different producers. More than a simple wine store, this House is a center of animation of the local viticulture and oenotourism with tastings, routes in the vineyards (including the 9 km wine trail marked out at the start of the wine house), exhibitions of old tools, and for groups the possibility of eating. You will find local products on the shelves: saffron, honeys, wine preserves and jams, but also rillettes of Loire fish, some pork specialties, without forgetting the famous "poires tapées". For the real wine lovers, there is also a complete range of accessories dedicated to this beverage. Finally, the house adds a cultural dimension to its activities with evening theaters.
