Parks and gardens, canals and waterways, openings and perspectives make up a fascinating landscape steeped in history. Here feelings of grandeur and decadence mingle with modesty, so much the weight of the place crushes you and elevates you. A romantic ruin set in the middle of all perspectives, the colossal neoclassical castle was decorated by the greatest artists of the time. Designed by the Marquis de Laborde, great financier and banker at the court of King Louis XV, it is displayed on 160 m which have not lost any of their former splendour.

Read moreYou have to cross a bridge that passes over the Loir populated with ducks to enter Emile Zola Park. This vast green space, on which the palmipèdes are gently between children's games, contains animations for young children, a wooden kiosk to shelter themselves, and a labyrinth. Indeed, at one end of the garden, shrubs form circles and draw the eye by their colour since they are of amazing red. Finally, extended between two arms of the river, the park also allows you to admire washing which are laid on the edge of the Loir. Please note that the Flandres Flandres parking Garage is parked just at the entrance to the garden.

It is therefore this site that leaves the river irrigates much of the region situated to the southwest of the department of the Eure-et-Loir.
