Fine art museums Eure-Et-Loir

Only a few metres separate the painting museum of Charpont, located behind the town hall and inaugurated in 1974, the Arts Alley. This proximity owes nothing at random since this street name was chosen to preserve the memory of the first painters who settled in this village of the valley of the Eure. The majority of the works attached in the two small galleries of the museum - one of them served as a municipal council hall - come from these artists attracted to the calm of the countryside. Located in the heart of Dreux, Hotel Montulé is a venue for temporary exhibitions. Many artists are revealed by their sculptures or paintings. From June 29 th to September 2nd, you will be able to discover Laurent Berman drawings and Models on the theme "Art in the City". This building, built at the end of the th century, also offers various courses including drawing, pottery, sculpture, engraving or stained glass.
