The large park is also on the right and left by smaller buildings that have the same kind of architecture as the central building.
RUFFIN FORTRESS
Read moreThe fortress of Bois Ruffin, located in the countryside of the Beauce dunoise between Arrou and Chapelle-Royale, blends the defensive walls of the upper Middle Ages and the plush farmhouses of the modern era. The whole is a remarkable site of the Eure-et-Loir that is seen by far thanks to the big round tower that rises in the middle of the courtyard closed by a grid and surrounded by ditches filled with water. The fortress was classified as a historic monument in 1924.
