To discover: Climb up from this circuit, Saint Prest and the valley of Roguenette, a small tributary that flows into the Eure in Saint-Prest, the mill of the Gravel. On Zola's steps, you will discover the valley of Sour: marsh with secret chasms and multiple springs drained by a small river where there are many mills. Romilly-sur-Sour-Rognes: Emile Zola, who stayed in 1887 in Dunois, drew the inspiration from La Terre to the Touche Farm. The fortified church of the th century was used in the period of grenier. On your way, don't miss Charray and La Ferté-Villeneuil because it makes good strolls in this charming old walled town.

Read moreArgenvilliers/Beaumont/Miermaigne (3 marked circuits of 8,4 km, 12,4 km, 15,1 km). Circuit No. 42. It's a great start to the day. At the beginning of the th century, they were a meeting place where the news was exchanged. Often built on the edge of rivers or fountains, from an architectural point of view, the closed washing is distinguished, with the inclined slabs surrounding a water restraint, covered entirely or partly, and washing open on the bank and protected by a canopy. Passing through Miermaigne: the conservatory was created with the aim of preserving local and old varieties. Each year the conservatory is enriched with new varieties. The Saint-Pierre church, dating from the 372.1 th, th and th centuries, preserved a cathedral of exceptional refinement and the th century pavilion (private domain), transformed into the early th century in the style of "Anglo-Norman cottage" style, is visible from RD. By passing through Argenvilliers, Beaumont-les-Altars, Vichères (these villages are described in the guide), we discover throughout this hike of privileged and charming places, these little corners deserve.

On this site, the inas will appreciate the variety of vegetation and wildlife in the middle of the fields. Percheronnes farms, in isolated hamlets, present their typical constructions characterized by wood to the pignon casing. The walk allows you to visit Arrou, the Bois Ruffin, the castle. Situated in the countryside, the dungeon and the square tower dating from the th century, particularly well preserved, are among the most interesting defensive works of the upper Middle Ages in Eure-et-Loir.

The Courgain is the most impressive and is the starting point of the walk which makes a loop: still active, it is placed between several old buildings. At the other end, the mill of Battereau is a private property and is only visible from the road. While walking, you will discover species of birds and specific plants of these wetlands and tree-lined areas.

This 11 kilometre circuit is therefore part of the house of the latter, which was built next to the local castle. It also makes it possible to close to the church of the commune before discovering other remains of the feudal seigneury like barn under the tithes. This large building in length dates back to the th century. Finally, the promenade takes the walkers to Mersantes, a former local head-site.
