LAFAYETTE GOURMET
Read moreWith its 3,000 ft ², the Lafayette Gourmet de Paris shop is one of the temples of the grocery stores. More than a deli it is an incredible window, as well frequented by locals and foreign gourmets. Nowhere if you do not find elsewhere a product of your childhood, of their native area or you enjoyed during a getaway region or in our borders, there is no doubt that you have your possibilities here! You will find all the famous brands here, and also treasures of craft productions. We love this address for thousand reasons, at the head of the many activities that punctuate the year. Lafayette Gourmet yields indeed regularly into four to celebrate a festival calendar or honoured a product or a region. The delivery service is beyond reproach. However, the prices are quite high and the advice of most of the time.
FINE L'ÉPICERIE
Read moreCécile Boussarie lives in the neighbourhood, but he lacks good street addresses. A bookstore is for sale and it settles in the walls to create its grocery store. Its purpose: Discover products from a wide range of horizons, sharing the craftsmanship and the possibility of rediscovering the pleasures of the kitchen. It badine with quality and selects everything it buys from small producers with the utmost care. It is always in search of news in France or at the other end of the world. The miso meets the Breton galette without complex. Among the last arrivals: Sèche sausage to Capers de of Cured Des, cream from balsamic to orange and spices of Maison Evencio Vasquez, caramel caramel to napper desserts or stick pancakes of the Maison Glozek, Italian cheeses from the Maison Tartufi Bianconi or the candy Tempête from Petit Prince to Etel.
DELI DROP
Read moreStéphane and Samia, the Small Drops owners, the bar-restaurant-restaurant, located at 12 l'Esplanade, and Kristin, a 45-year-old Californian friend, have imagined this very American concept where you can find everything at any time. And if your children are with you you will have to have a good dose of authority to refuse to buy packets of candy because they are too tempting with all their colors. On the old wooden shelves all the classics of American food are present, Jack Daniel's BBQ sauces from peanut butter through cereals, canned pasta but also Japanese gadgets, magazines, comics and even skateboards. You can take a coffee, drink a drink or eat a hot dog with a Thai version.
GREFFEUILLE
Read moreA very nice store, delicatessen, sale and tasting, where you can taste Aveyron first and foremost Allaiton lamb, a lamb with great taste (sausage, loin, slab, mouse, hazelnut, etc.), and other quality and local products, such as those of Manoir Alexandre (quail leg, foie gras, accompanied by aligot from Aubrac, tarbian beans, etc.).), and other quality and local products, such as those of Manoir Alexandre (quail leg, foie gras), accompanied by Aubrac aligot, Tarbais beans, baked potatoes or vegetables of the day; but also oils, aperitifs from Marius Bonal, sodas and beers from the Olt brewery, as well as wines from Domaine du Cros (Marcillac).
CAUSSES
Read moreThe "biotifull" grocery store is the hippest in Paris, since the hype has set its sights on slow food, locavoreand fresh produce, preferably signed. In French, this means local, seasonal fruit and vegetables, artisanal charcuterie, protected origin cheeses, natural wines and sweets without artificial coloring. We also love the canteen, La Fabrique, for a lunch break in the same spirit of the place, and its cooking classes, Monday to Friday from 10am to 2.30pm. A must!
CHEZ ALINE
Read moreWe're going to get a bit angry with Delphine Zampetti for including her Cuisine Comptoir Familial under the heading "Epicerie fine", but never mind... She took over a former horse butcher's shop all tiled in yellow, replaced the "V" in chevaline with a "Z" and that was it! This former Café Caché du 104 and Le Verre Volé alumna knows how to bring out the best in good products. A fine selection of Prince de Paris label hams, cured hams, Christian Parra's black pudding, excellent cheeses, good double cream served by the ladle in a jar, as well as Portuguese sardines and home-cooked dishes to eat in or take away. Not to mention a dozen or so "natural" wine references.
