It is organized by an association, the ADARSUB (Association for the agricultural and rural development of South Basse-Terre), which gathers farmers of the territory. Local producers come to sell their agricultural production directly to individuals. The stalls are full of fruit and vegetables, fresh fish, local meats, flowers, coconut water, but also processed products (black pudding, punch, cocoa, sweet and savoury cassava)...

Read moreOne of the few places in Basse-Terre where you can enjoy ice cream, fruit sorbets, smoothies, milkshakes and fruit juices. For the greediest or hungriest, you'll also find crêpes, waffles, pâtés, viennoiseries... This ice-cream parlour also serves traditional West Indian chocolate (a must-try). To help you find your way around, it's located in downtown Basse-Terre, close to the town hall (about 30 m away), with a pink and white storefront.

Read moreThe Cool & Bad planter created by Maher Bad won a silver medal at the Paris Agricultural Show in 2014 and was stamped "best planter in the world". Building on this success, Maher Bad decided to open the Maison du planteur, which you'll recognize by its orange front adorned with planter bottles. Here, you can take a tour, discover the culture and tradition in a friendly atmosphere, to the sound of local music, and taste the famous drink. Bottles are available in 50 and 100 cl sizes, as well as artisanal punches.
