For almost 25 years, this restaurant has been visited by those who love good food. It is difficult to find a better setting for lunch or dinner in Guingamp. In an old tannery, on the banks of the river Trieux, at the edge of the old town and within walking distance of the basilica, the setting is almost bucolic, on the waterfront. Here, you can savour a brasserie cuisine, simple but of good quality, with fresh produce, prepared with great attention. Among the dishes on the short menu, you will take note of a delicious salmon marinated with citrus or calamari Sicilian as a starter. For the main course, you will be tempted by fried sweetbreads with aciduléeou sauce, for sea food, you will be attracted to sea bass risotto, small purple parmesan and artichoke. After a Plouigneau strawberry soft cheese curd, you will have to leave this place so as to return to the city with its vibrations.

The Iceland styled homemade smoked salmon and blinis will make your mouth water. For the rest you have to choose between land and sea delicacies. Beef filets in Rossini style will satisfy some people while fried abalone and scallops will delight others. After a dessert that matches perfectly with the previous dishes, you will go back to the quay as you dream of a basin filled with schooners from Iceland.

We would love that institution. or rather these paillottes to thatched roofs— is open all year round.
