This is Clint Eastwood's restaurant. The setting is friendly and wooded, even rustic. The hunter's type with its boar heads and its frames straight out of a western movie, one would almost think one was in a saloon. The restaurant takes its name from its renowned and talented chef: Kurt Grasing. Very pleasant terrace in the sun in a small typical street of Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Good address of seafood specialties with a view on the ocean, directly located between Highway 1 and the Pacific. From the outside, the place looks like a simple little shack, without suspecting the delicious menus that Sam concocts for us inside. Live concert on weekends. You can have a steak and French fries for about thirty dollars. In the evening it is a little more expensive, about fifty dollars for a piece of meat and vegetables. In fact, we especially want to advise you to pass there for the aperitif in order to take advantage of the breathtaking view on the Pacific Ocean from the big terrace.

At the tip of Pillar Point Harbor is Half Moon Bay Brewing Company, which brews its own beers on site. This establishment is an institution in the area. IPA, blonde, amber, there is something for everyone. You can enjoy them on the terrace facing the ocean on a beautiful summer day. The seafood pasta is the specialty of the house, and we particularly recommend the linguini with shrimps... to fall!

In the Danish family Olsen, we have been a father of father in son since the end of the th century.
