The Centre de Vol à Voile de Vauville-Hague association, in the commune of La Hague, is based at the Vauville-Camp Maneyrol airfield, which offers ideal conditions for gliding: gentle slope, favourable winds, the site is a must for this discipline. Today, the association offers 2 activities: gliding and multi-axis microlight flying. For novices, the sensations are guaranteed, especially during introductory flights.

A unique event: the brainchild of a group of friends, Rock n'Trail invites you to meet up in a quarry - still in operation, but obviously not in use for a weekend - and push your limits. And how: the flagship event features a 7.6-kilometer course (with 200 meters of cumulative elevation gain), where you can run alone or in a team for 24 hours! Other races, including a 20 km trail, are also on offer. Why rock? Because there are plenty of bands and riffs to accompany your feat!

The Centre Nautique Est-Cotentin has three bases: one in Barfleur, the second in Quinéville and the last in Saint-Vaast. In addition to the possibility for sailing enthusiasts to indulge in their favourite marine sports, you can also take lessons here, even if you are a novice, and practice paddle, kayak, sailing or sand yachting. The three instructors have the know-how and professionalism to guide you.

Overlooking the sea and the beach: a prime location to study the winds and currents... The team at the nautical centre (which also has a branch in Omonville-la-Rogue) will look after you during your trips to the sea and make sure you are as well equipped as possible. Numerous activities are available: windsurfing, catamaran, sand yachting, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, schooner sailing, sea gardening, gliding, towed buoy, coastal longevity... There is something for all tastes, for all ages and above all for all levels! Sports, leisure or even learning.

To simply discover the region in a different way! Whether it's the Val-de-Saire (and in particular Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue and its UNESCO-listed towers) or Cherbourg and its many ports, these horse-drawn carriage tours will appeal to you. And there are many offers! Drawn by Norman cobs or Percherons, which will give the youngest the opportunity to marvel, these carriages are an excellent way to discover our heritage.

The Cherbourg Sailing School, which totals no less than 1,500^m2 of usable space spread over two levels, has a reception hall, classrooms, changing rooms, staff offices, school users' premises and the rowing club. The school welcomes children from the age of 6, is open for school holiday courses, sea classes, provides departmental dinghy training, sports instruction, or licence training.

It is a national reference in the field: the Regional Centre for Circus Arts is a place of art and culture entirely dedicated to the emergence of new forms of circus arts. The structure welcomes artists in residence and offers a very rich programme. Beginners or big names in this world of the spectacle in full revolution, all have a beautiful tool of accompaniment towards creation. Every year, the place is the heart of the Spring festival, dedicated to these arts.

Since 1984, the Barneville-Carteret Rowing Club has been located in the harbour. It offers an introduction to sea rowing in solo, double, and coxed four. Near the slipway, access to the sea is easy. If the sea is rough, rowers can retreat to the harbour. The club has been organising races for several years, notably the Jersey-Carteret, to cover 15 nautical miles, over 2 days. Notice to experienced sportsmen, but also to those who are less used to it: here, it is for everyone!

The Barneville-Carteret equestrian club offers a wide range of horse-related activities: from introductory lessons for the very young, through horse-ball, dressage, show-jumping and trail riding, to advanced training and exams, there's something for everyone. Numerous ponies and horses are available at the club, located 600 m from the sea. The pleasure of riding in the great outdoors is yours, especially on the beach, facing the immensity of the English Channel, in landscapes worthy of postcards.

The Barneville-Carteret nautical centre offers a wide range of services. Vests and wetsuits are available for hire. The school offers a full range of sailing and seafaring activities. From ages 4 to 6, little ones are welcomed to the sea garden. From 6 to 8, the little mousses climb aboard the Walker Bay, from 8 to 12 the Optimist and from 9 to 14 the Collective 316. As soon as you reach the right age, you'll embark on a 420, catamaran, windsurf or fun board. Our experienced staff will give you a warm welcome.

A problem for the organization of your stay by the sea? Whether the urge of the moment is leaning towards a walk aboard an old rigging, a crossing to the islands of Chausey, Jersey, Guernsey and Sark, a yacht rental, a stay in thalassotherapy or simply a problem of accommodation in Granville and its region, the nautical resort is there for that! The place is certified 4 stars and its place in the hexagonal nautical landscape is recognized.

The Pôle Plongée Normandie association is part of the FFESSM and operates from the port of Cherbourg or, more often, from the Collignon leisure center. Pôle Plongée Normandie offers management training and everything you need to dive in the best possible conditions: boat, equipment, inflation station, changing rooms, classrooms... For your safety, our equipment is renewed every two years, and our supervisors adapt to your needs. The Pôle Plongée trains and explores the Cotentin seabed.

La Cavalerie de Montchaton is an equestrian tourism center located in Orval sur Sienne. The center offers equestrian activities for the whole family in a friendly atmosphere that respects the well-being of the horses. La Cavalerie de Montchaton accepts payment by bank and postal cheques, vacation vouchers and cash. Parking and sanitary facilities are available. Groups are also welcome. For those wishing to explore the surrounding area, the Pointe d'Agon beach at Agon-Coutainville and the Coudeville-sur-Mer beach are nearby.
