It's an incredible architectural ensemble: the 35-hectare Pôle Hippique de Saint-Lô boasts unrivalled facilities, including the former national stud farm and several riding arenas. The Granville racecourse, located very close to the town, in Bréville-sur-Mer to be precise, is the antechamber of the great trotters of tomorrow: it is indeed on this 1,400-metre grassy track that many future racing champions train. Near the bay of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, an 18-hole golf course for players of all levels. The setting is exceptional because it is in the middle of the natural park of the Cotentin and Bessin marshes, with the sea in the immediate vicinity (the wind and the sea spray shape here a wild and sublime nature). Nature is omnipresent and makes this golf course a place like nowhere else. A school has been created. You will also find a practice range and a putting green.

On the heights of La Glacerie, the Cherbourg golf course overlooks the city's harbour in a veritable green setting, so charming that it has been ranked one of the most beautiful courses in the region. The 9-hole course is fairly flat, with narrow fairways and small, well-designed greens. Conveniently accessible, it also offers lessons and equipment hire. A golf school is available for younger players, and please note that carts are prohibited to preserve the course.

This AAPPMA manages the Étang pond (0,8 ha) in Sourdeval. This 1 st class pond follows the general regulations on site. To access it, an additional contribution is requested. The association also deals with Sée and its tributaries in the first category, upstream of Cherence-le-Roussel. A rural and wild route where the waters are fougeuses and sports fishing.

The association takes care of a 7 km course on the river La Sée, Public domain, upstream of the mouth, of which the special route flies, its tributaries Le, Fire, Saint-Louis, the Sault-Besnon, the Palorette. There are some cotiers streams, the Lerre, the Chanteraine, the Lude, the Passous of Angey, and the René Forge water plan in Fumecon. It is equipped with a starting mound, singles, pros, doubles and tables. The track is in good condition and has lighting. Admission is free and the track is located outdoors.

Located at the entrance to the former commune of Beaumont-Hague, the Hague Horse Riding Stadium is a wonderful complex for horse riding enthusiasts, whether they are novices in the field, more experienced, or simply spectators of competitions. The backbone of the complex, the rural horse-riding society, has more than a hundred members who ride and learn on no less than 12 hectares divided into three areas, two sandy and one grassy.

Located, as its name indicates, in the heart of the department, this 9-hole golf course, which offers a 2,800-meter course, is set in a green setting. Approved by the French federation, it offers to everyone, novice or confirmed, to evolve according to his level. The calm that reigns here makes it a renowned place. To reach it, from the centre of Mortain, you take the direction of the Petite Cascade to reach this site which offers a dozen routes from level 4 to level 7. The Gobi crack which rises along the Aiguille de Mortain has made the reputation of this site where many amateurs come. In the sixties, this famous crack would have seen great names such as Lionel Terray and René Desmaisons pass by: it's up to you to become their worthy descendants!

La Fosse-Arthour is one of the best known and most popular climbing sites in the Normandy bocage. This very hard sandstone bar offers a pleasant climb in this listed natural site. 160 routes are equipped with varying degrees of difficulty depending on your level - and your abilities! Slabs, cracks, edges, overhangs, you will find all types of climbing. Don't hesitate to contact the Avranchin climbing club for more information!

It is a beautiful kilometre-long walk along the Sélune River, from the village of Ducey to the entrance of the Ardennes wood. On a regular basis, you will be able to discover the surroundings and to find yourself geographically. Certified Tourism and Handicap, the site is accessible for disabled people and is a nice place to walk.
