Fatscoot ? What is this new activity proposed in the Sancy? Hold on to your handlebars, we are talking about all-terrain downhill scooter. Different routes are mapped out, to be chosen according to your level: beginner or advanced. The departure is at the foot of the Val de Courre. On the tracks, go around the obstacles: slaloms, raised turns... Sensations guaranteed on board the Fatscoot. Once the course is finished, you go back up by the ski lift. This activity is accessible from 8 years old and can be practiced with the whole family.

Outdoor activities in summer and winter? Sancy Park has done it! Thrill-seekers will try out the zip line, unique in Auvergne. In summer, you can take to the skies with the tubby jump. Toboggan runs are open for children and adults. On sunny days, you can ride an all-terrain electric scooter or test your agility at the disc golf. Two activities are exclusively dedicated to children: the infernal tower which includes a climbing wall, a slide and a jump in the void and the snowmobile driving.

Châtel-Guyon's racquetball center gets a facelift in 2020. On the tennis side, two indoor and two outdoor courts will delight competitors and Sunday players alike. Two indoor squash courts and two outdoor padel courts complete the new complex, which also features changing rooms and a club house. Reservations can be made online. Training sessions, courses, individual or group lessons...: thanks to Julien, a state-certified instructor, you can learn racquet sports at your own pace and at any age.

Starting from the village of Saint-Priest-des-Champs, two trails lead to this beautiful waterfall and its 10-metre height: a short 3 km walk and a 9.5 km hike. Both offer a breath of fresh air in the Combrailles undergrowth. Along the way, you'll come across the Pas de Saint-Martin, a legendary hoof trail said to have been left by the saint's horse as it passed by. In summer, it's hard to resist the temptation to dip your feet in the Auzelle, which forms a pool at the foot of the waterfall. The two paths form a loop.

This fishing guide instructor, regularly rewarded during competitions by trophies, is a specialist in sport fishing for carnivorous fish, by boat, in dams: drifting, vertical, handled, pulling. But also : trout fishing with natural baits, Pyrenean technique. He invites you to discover the most beautiful sites of Auvergne, to fish for carnivorous fish (pike perch, pike, perch) in the Truyère valley. His two favorite sectors are the Cantalian dams: Garabit Grand Val (1 100 ha) and Sarrans (1 200 ha). The GR89 is a hiking trail that refers to the writer and humanist Michel de Montaigne. Sport and literature become one! It is the path he took in 1581 to reach Bordeaux, from Rome. The itinerary takes up two themes that were dear to him: the journey and the meeting. On the Puy-de-Dômoise part, hikers discover the local heritage through quotations and extracts from the author's travel journal. The city of Clermont-Ferrand is crossed by 6 stages of the path, allowing to discover the richness of the territory: the Allier river at Pont-du-Château, the puy d'Anzelle at Cournon, the historical center of Clermont, the crossing of the Chaîne des Puys, etc.

With friends or family, go on an adventure in the Aydat forest. Just 35 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, Altiparc is set in a beautiful natural environment. After a safety briefing, it's time for the many activities on offer: tree-to-tree high wire courses, monkey bridges, lianas, nets... The courses are adapted to the age of the visitors, and safety is paramount with a continuous lifeline. This six-kilometer hike starts from Corent's esplanade and follows a blue markup. The trail invites you to discover the village of Corent, famous for its archeological wealth, its vineyards and old alleys, before bypassing the Puy. You will discover through this walk the old lake now almost dry and archeological excavations of the oppidum of Corent. This hike also offers beautiful views of the Puys chain and its volcanic formations. The walk is easy (120 m) but still requires good walking shoes, the sometimes rocky path can also be muddy. Count two hours.

This 2.2 km trail offers you to walk on the volcanic hillock on which the village of Usson was built. Among the most beautiful villages of France, Usson was for nearly 20 years the place of exile of Marguerite de Valois, wife of Henri IV. Today, the castle in which she was held no longer exists, but the village has many other resources. The path first takes you to visit the village itself, before going up to the statue of the Virgin to get a complete panorama of the surrounding mountains. It finally leads you to a façade of basaltic organs carved by the effect of time and rain.

Around the Richard de Bas Mill, two loops are dedicated to the theme of mills and papermaking. The Mill's Apprentice is a trail that can be walked with the whole family. The path is rich in information about architecture, the environment, water, the valley and its sounds... From May to September, children can start a treasure hunt with the magic map. The Chemin des Papetiers is a 2h30 walk along the Lagat stream. Spinning wheels are present along the circuit.

The Sancy-Green, the grand season mountain event organised by the City of Bourboule, consists of several tests or circuits ranging from 16 km for cadets to 42,5 km for the larger. A festive, friendly and popular atmosphere for a nice day dedicated to mountain biking.

In the heart of the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park, Espace VTT N° 1 offers rental of mountain bikes, electric bikes and all-terrain scooters. Once you're equipped, you can set off on the various signposted circuits on offer, such as the Circuit du Moulin de la Rode(19 km) or the Circuit VTT Cade Les Améthystes ® (23 km). Another activity is orienteering, a fun way to discover the surrounding countryside. Everything you need for a green day out, just 15 minutes from Issoire!

A small walk of 2 h in sous that makes it possible to win Capuchin. You can also join other paths such as the Doctors or Milles-Pis. Many other trails leave the station. This is the case of the Chemin-Roze road - the name of the two artists who created it - leading to the Grande Cascade.

With its 9 courses, Martibusse Aventure is the ideal playground for lovers of acrobatics, zip lines and monkey bridges, in the heart of a magnificent pine forest. In addition to the breathtaking natural setting, you'll appreciate the diversity of the courses and their different levels of difficulty, from green to black. Mini adventurers need to be at least 1 m tall to safely access the Kids courses, and at least 1.30 m for the others. The outdoor laser game was a big hit last summer, and the upcoming treasure hunt promises to be a great time!

Jean-François Cassier is a sledding fanatic and has made it his profession. He has settled with his adorable pack - and his family - on the heights of Murat-le-Quaire. As the sled is only available when it snows, the rest of the time is devoted to wheeled sledding, cani-trotinnette or canirando. But above all, Jean-François prefers to spend time with the dogs, to get to know the Siberian huskies better and to learn how the pack works. In complete safety, the musher alternates experiences, between full gallop rides and very instructive discussions.

The Puy-de-Dôme can be discovered by hiking, and by... electric scooter. Five routes are proposed of 10, 20 or 30 kilometers. Easily accessible, from 12 years old, they allow to realize an activity in family. Some of them include some technical passages, they will delight the most daring and sporty. The routes cross the magnificent landscapes such as the fairy chimneys, the rich nature of the Natura 2000 zone and the forests, the built heritage with the castles... Scooter, battery, helmet and gloves are provided during the ride.

Alone or in a group, you'll be equipped with a suit, a pair of goggles, gloves, a chest protector, a bat and a crowbar... you'll love what happens next. You enter a room where objects are laid out for you to smash to pieces with your bat or crowbar. We fell in love with the crowbar, which we found more suitable for the "finishing touches". From small beer bottles to vacuum cleaners, computers and televisions, there's plenty to do. The session lasts 30 minutes, and you'll come out exhausted!

Looking for some adrenalin-pumping thrills? Let's go for a ride on a super coaster, this year's new addition to Super-Besse! For 4 minutes, you'll experience a 130-meter descent at full speed. As well as the speed, this descent won't be easy: you'll encounter bends, bridges, slope breaks... you've been warned: it's going to be an emotional ride. And to top it all off, you'll be driving the sled. What we like even more is that this activity can be enjoyed in both summer and winter!

For more than a decade, the Arténium has been the heart of activity for four disciplines. Pong players, judokas, karatekas and wrestlers have made it their headquarters. These sportsmen train there and during the weekends, they organize their competitions from departmental to national level. The sports complex can accommodate up to 1,700 people. The space is modular and can even be divided into three. The club of the Fencing circle La Rapière has eight electric runways, two changing rooms and a fitness room to indulge in the pleasures of jubilation, sword or sword. The Tennis Club du Colombier is perched at the top of the Roman way of Chamalières. Your old rollers take the dust in the closet, not the chance to get them out? The APR 63 may interest you. Since 1988, the Association Passion Rollers de Clermont-Ferrand has offered various activities around roller, for both adults and children. For example, you will find hiking programs, speed skating courses or endurance, roller hockey, roller derby, and even rink hockey. A skating school welcomes children from 7 to 16 years of age and a Roller derby junior section has been created. All disciplines are provided in good security conditions. Created in 1922, the Stade Clermontois Tennis Club is the Auvergne club with the most members in all age categories. Every year, they play on the eleven courts of the Phillippe Marcombes stadium. In the summer, five clay courts (one of which is covered) and six hard courts (three of which are outdoor) are open. In winter, there are five clay courts (three of which are covered and heated) in addition to the usual six hard courts. The club provides group and individual instruction, clinics, tournaments, and offers a mini-tennis and junior club. The spirit of the Club is maintained thanks to its club house open 6 days a week.

The Auvergnat Speleological Group brings together the fans of the underground world and related activities such as canyoning or underground diving. Practicing speleology requires great respect for the very fragile natural environment and safety rules, which members of the association strive to share. The descenders are framed by the initiators. For diving expeditions, a mentor and instructor are also present within the club. Each year the club organizes discoveries of discovery and initiation to speleology. Summer camp is organized and hosts members and their families.

The Clermont Squash is a resident of the ASD Fitness Complex, including four squash fields. Clermont-Ferrand's Ice Hockey team has been known as Sangars Arvernes since 1989. Champions of France D 1 in 1999, they currently evolve in D 2. Manned by the emblematic Nicolas Ducrohet until 2013, the HCCA now has Eric Sarliève at his head. This club with 340 licensees makes every effort to structure and develop, including the French Ice Hockey Federation, which welcomes children under 11 years of age and the emergence of a women's section. Clermont Community rink vibrates to the rhythm of its team and supporters at each meeting.

This federal school teaches figure skating. It provides teaching of this discipline for children from three years of age, from the green skating to the fifth blade, thanks to the mentoring of three state professors and about twenty monitors and monsters. Tests for younger and adults are free for the first two sessions with the supply of the material. The club, among the most important in France, has more than 380 licensees and will offer you two more free courses in case of membership after the trial sessions. Watch out for it in advance because the club is a victim of its success!

The Combrailles is an area with a unique landscape (meanders, forests...) and built heritage (castles...) that's great to explore on foot. But the problem is always the same: where to go? Where are the hiking trails? The Combrailles tourist office has the answer with its Combrailles, balades et randonnées (Combrailles, walks and hikes) application. Intuitive, it presents 80 walks in text, map and audio format, with points of interest and facilities also identified. All you need to do is put on your walking shoes!

Crapa-Hutte offers a wide range of outdoor sports activities near Issoire. Giant zip lines, battle archery, archery, crapahut' extrem, ventriglisse, role-playing, ball throwing and orienteering are all on offer, depending on the site (Moidias or Sainte-Marguerite). Everything is organized to enable you to have fun or work out in the best possible conditions. You don't need to be an expert - most activities are open to all. A fully-equipped gîte lets you sleep in and enjoy the barbecue in peace and quiet.

Closed since the turn of the century, the railroad line between Lapeyrouse and Saint-Éloy-les-Mines is coming back to life thanks to the Vélorail. A pleasant, shady 16-kilometer round trip takes in the rural Combrailles countryside. Descents and gentle climbs punctuate the ride, but don't worry, the electric assistance will be with you all the way, so you can pedal effortlessly. However, the more athletic riders can deactivate the assistance if they wish.

Between 1912 and 1971, a railroad line took spa-goers from Riom to Châtel-Guyon. Now disused, the former railroad line is now home to a "voie verte" (greenway), ideal for soft mobility. Walkers, cyclists and even families with young children in baby carriages can enjoy a 2.5-kilometre walk on stabilized ground. Once you've reached the final lookout point, you can choose to do the same in the opposite direction, or continue towards the Ambène greenway on the other side of the ring road.

Michel Portier, creator of Les Cabanes des Combrailles, has more than one trick up his sleeve when it comes to helping visitors discover his region in a different way! In addition to his village, which offers a number of unusual sleeping arrangements, such as tree houses, he now rents out all-terrain electric scooters. So, without too much effort, it's possible to follow the different itineraries he's created, to discover the surrounding nature and enjoy the scenery to the full.

Breaking-in, dressage, riding lessons: the world of horses in the great outdoors! The club's regulars will share the pleasure of riding with you. Rides can be organized over several days. Lessons are given in the riding arena, for all ages and sizes. Even baby riders can join in the fun, as soon as they're able to walk. The school has around fifty beautiful Merens and Auvergnats for breeding and maintenance.

With Funcross, thrill-seekers can discover the Auvergne Tuscany on a GPS-guided off-road electric scooter. Allow 2 hours non-stop to cover one of the three 30-kilometer circuits. We'd still advise you to take time for a few photo stops, or even a snack, to make the most of the landscapes and 360° views on offer. The activity is open to everyone, aged 14 and over. Helmets and protectors are provided for your safety.

Departing from Espirat, the velorail follows the old Billom-Vertaizon railroad line for 5 kilometers. The round trip takes 1h30. The route is clear and offers 360° panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, the Limagne plain and its ancient volcanic hills. Although the velorail is not electric, it's an ideal activity for the whole family: parents pedal up front, while children enjoy the ride from the comfort of the back seat. An original way to discover the Jauron valley.
