The Clermont-Ferrand ice hockey team has been known as Les Sangliers Arvernes since 1989. French D1 champions in 1999, they currently play in D2. HCCA is headed by Frédéric Decelle, and the first-team coach is Juho Autio. The club is doing its utmost to structure and develop itself, with a field hockey school accredited by the French Ice Hockey Federation for children under the age of 11, and the emergence of a women's section. The Clermont Auvergne Métropole ice rink vibrates to the rhythm of the exploits of its team and supporters at every match!
