The Opera Theater reopened in September 2013, brand new, after seven years of renovation. Designed parjean Teillard at the end of the nineteenth century, this beautiful Italian theater can accommodate 600 spectators, the red and gold room operates on three levels of balconies. It offers performances of the Lyric Center, the Auvergne Orchestra, the Orchestra of Harmony, the Festival des Festivals… The Auvergne Orchestra has settled on the floors… The programming is structured between great classics and novelties: operas and ballets, concerts, plays and shows. The Opera Theater also hosts events for younger people or theme balls.

Located between the Lecoq garden and the Place de Jaude, this Irish pub offers a wide range of beers, rums, whiskies and cocktails to enjoy with friends. It is a place of meeting and cultural exchange, since French and foreign students like to meet there. It is frequent to hear several languages spoken. The waiters are very professional. A room upstairs can be privatized for events. On ASM match days, the atmosphere of this pub is supercharged. Theme nights and other concerts are also proposed.

Sweeteria is a "factory of artisanal sweets" as its owner Cindy likes to call it, recently reconverted in pastry making. In her small cozy nest of about twenty places, completed by a small terrace, she honors her Caribbean-Latino roots. As its name indicates, l'Antre de Dionysos is specialized in wine. Lilian Martin's establishment has on one side a bar where it is possible to settle down to taste different appellations. About thirty are proposed by the glass. The cellar side offers more than 500 bottles and accessories, as well as about thirty rums, selected and presented by Lilian Martin, sommelier. If the generous board of local products is not enough, order a meal. Enjoy the food prepared in the second part of Lilian's establishment, the restaurant.

Integrated into the Grande Halle d'Auvergne complex, to which it gives a strong architecture with its silhouette in the shape of a volcano chimney, the Zénith d'Auvergne is a fully-fledged auditorium. Johnny Hallyday has sung here, Elton John, Scorpions or Les Insus, in short, all the major tours make a stop at the Zénith, and major shows or conventions too! The whole department comes here. Los Dos Hermanos is a reference: always a great atmosphere, an efficient tapas menu and pitchers of white or red sangria that evaporate too quickly! Those who know it know, you have to come early to get a table and sometimes accept to share one. The room is not so small though. This joyful hubbub is enhanced by a good playlist. On the menu, we find the unavoidable and traditional tortillas, patatas bravas, hams and chorizos, manchego cheese, quesadillas and other croquetas (served by 4, by the piece... a little expensive). This bar operates with a restaurant license, so you have to eat at least one plate of tapas to drink alcohol.

Six months of intensive work were necessary to redesign this beautiful 80 m² room with its vaulted ceiling made of beautiful stones (even the toilets deserve a visit!). Dimmed lights, modern barrel style furniture, the atmosphere is lounge and relaxed, all the way to the end of the terrace on the pedestrian street. The menu features wines, beers, smoked meats and cheeses from the Balkans, a reference to the owner's origins. All this is immersed in a musical atmosphere that invites you to relax.
