Since it opened its doors in February 2018, this café welcomes in joy and good humour all those who wish to learn or perfect their techniques in sewing, knitting, patchwork, embroidery.... In this world where reels, balls and knitting needles reign, people come to learn with experienced volunteers, enjoy a hot drink, share a moment of relaxation, friendliness and dexterity. Flax brings back the beautiful rue du Port with talent, attracts the eye of the passer-by, and affirms its vocation to democratize knitting, sewing and textile creation through a beautiful program of animations that can be followed on the Facebook page.

Every summer, inflatables are installed on Lac d'Hermine. Children must be able to swim to access them. Two new structures have been installed near the beach and are accessible to children aged 4 to 12. For the little ones, there's a range of suitable water sports equipment. Wetsuits and life jackets are provided. You can also rent pedalos, windsurfers, dinghies and kayaks. The beach is equipped and bathing is supervised.

The balneoludic pool includes a 25-meter sports area with 3 lines for swimmers and a fun area with massaging beds, jets and whirlpools for the whole family. Children will have fun in the aquasplash while parents can relax in the wellness area. The latter is fully equipped for relaxation with a sauna and a hammam. Numerous activities are offered for everyone: aquagym, aquabiking, aquakids, swimming lessons..

With its 9 courses, Martibusse Aventure is the ideal playground for lovers of acrobatics, zip lines and monkey bridges, in the heart of a magnificent pine forest. In addition to the breathtaking natural setting, you'll appreciate the diversity of the courses and their different levels of difficulty, from green to black. Mini adventurers need to be at least 1 m tall to safely access the Kids courses, and at least 1.30 m for the others. The outdoor laser game was a big hit last summer, and the upcoming treasure hunt promises to be a great time!

The GR89 is a hiking trail that refers to the writer and humanist Michel de Montaigne. Sport and literature become one! It is the path he took in 1581 to reach Bordeaux, from Rome. The itinerary takes up two themes that were dear to him: the journey and the meeting. On the Puy-de-Dômoise part, hikers discover the local heritage through quotations and extracts from the author's travel journal. The city of Clermont-Ferrand is crossed by 6 stages of the path, allowing to discover the richness of the territory: the Allier river at Pont-du-Château, the puy d'Anzelle at Cournon, the historical center of Clermont, the crossing of the Chaîne des Puys, etc.

A large 25-metre pool, a smaller 12-metre pool and a 7-metre paddling pool give everyone the chance to learn to swim, or just do a few laps in peace and quiet. A 36-meter-long slide adds a touch of fun. The pool is adapted for disabled swimmers. It has also been awarded the Tourisme et Handicap label. A range of activities, supervised by sports instructors, are available to the public, including aquabike, aquajogging and baby swimming.

A meeting place for Warhammers enthusiasts and enthusiasts, this shop is a parallel world. With friends or family, go on an adventure in the Aydat forest. Just 35 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, Altiparc is set in a beautiful natural environment. After a safety briefing, it's time for the many activities on offer: tree-to-tree high wire courses, monkey bridges, lianas, nets... The courses are adapted to the age of the visitors, and safety is paramount with a continuous lifeline. This six-kilometer hike starts from Corent's esplanade and follows a blue markup. The trail invites you to discover the village of Corent, famous for its archeological wealth, its vineyards and old alleys, before bypassing the Puy. You will discover through this walk the old lake now almost dry and archeological excavations of the oppidum of Corent. This hike also offers beautiful views of the Puys chain and its volcanic formations. The walk is easy (120 m) but still requires good walking shoes, the sometimes rocky path can also be muddy. Count two hours.

This 2.2 km trail offers you to walk on the volcanic hillock on which the village of Usson was built. Among the most beautiful villages of France, Usson was for nearly 20 years the place of exile of Marguerite de Valois, wife of Henri IV. Today, the castle in which she was held no longer exists, but the village has many other resources. The path first takes you to visit the village itself, before going up to the statue of the Virgin to get a complete panorama of the surrounding mountains. It finally leads you to a façade of basaltic organs carved by the effect of time and rain.

Around the Richard de Bas Mill, two loops are dedicated to the theme of mills and papermaking. The Mill's Apprentice is a trail that can be walked with the whole family. The path is rich in information about architecture, the environment, water, the valley and its sounds... From May to September, children can start a treasure hunt with the magic map. The Chemin des Papetiers is a 2h30 walk along the Lagat stream. Spinning wheels are present along the circuit.

The Massif du Massif Association was first founded in 1985 following the Mountain Law, under the name Auvergne Ski de Fond. It is responsible for the coordination and enhancement of the northern areas of the Massif Central. Founded in 1944, the Issoire - Le Broc aerodrome invites you to a baptism (discovery flight) to appreciate the sensations of a flight in a two-seater glider. At an altitude of 900 meters, enjoy 20 to 60 minutes in the air depending on the weather. It is also possible to opt for a 20-minute flight in a small plane (up to 3 passengers), always accompanied of course by an experienced pilot! Nothing like it to appreciate the beauty and richness of the Issoire region. You can also ask to fly towards the Sancy or the puy de Dôme.

The Raquettes snowshoes is a day dedicated to raquette and good humour. Each year 500 and 700 participants participate in this mass hike in snowshoes from La Bourboule. Two courses are proposed. A hot tub and hot meal are offered to the participants. Don't miss this rendez-vous in Auvergne!

The Sancy-Green, the grand season mountain event organised by the City of Bourboule, consists of several tests or circuits ranging from 16 km for cadets to 42,5 km for the larger. A festive, friendly and popular atmosphere for a nice day dedicated to mountain biking.

Les petits crus offers a real experience around wines and cheeses. First, you choose the formula, either you test 4 or 6 pairings, then you choose your cheese board: mild, strong, creamy, or favorites. The wines arrive in small bottles, the cheeses on a slate. The tasting begins in a certain order. We are taken on a journey of flavors. Do you like puzzles and investigations? Geocaching at the Château de Parentignat is for you. Equipped with a GPS and a roadmap, you'll have to find various points of interest. Among other things, you'll pass through the château's gardens. The clues in the roadmap will lead you to the gardens. At the end, you'll normally arrive at the geocache! This activity is also available for groups all year round, by prior arrangement.

The summer luge track is located in the heart of the Parc des Léchades. The summer luge, also called bobsleigh by analogy with the bobsleigh, takes the basics of the winter luge. The summer luge, or how to take advantage of the slopes in the summer season, is a real thrill seeker. The stainless steel track, 520 meters long, offers children some great descents. Please note that children under 1.25 m must be accompanied by an adult.

This is one of our favorite spots to relax by the water. Much frequented by fishermen, the site is also shared by walkers, bathers and campers. In summer, swimming is supervised. Near the pond, you'll find miniature golf, tennis courts, a pétanque court, playgrounds and a skate park. The beach and grassy areas surrounding the pond are ideal for picnics and siestas. The aquatic center has two areas. One is made up of a 25 m sports pool, a 100 m² balneoludic pool and a paddling pool-lagoon area for children. Pioneer in Clermont-Ferrand, this diving club was born nearly sixty years ago. Today it has more than 200 members. The team welcomes deep-sea enthusiasts from 8 years old, for baptisms, initiations and to prepare level 1 to 3 diplomas. The membership to the club includes the license, the federal insurance, the loan of equipment (tanks, stabilizers and regulators) and the supervision of theoretical and practical courses. Since 2014, the club is the only one in Auvergne to provide a Nitrox compressor, as well as the associated training.

Speed2max is the leading French manufacturer of electric karts, combining quality craftsmanship with respect for the environment. The track stretches across a 4,600 m² area, with a fleet of fourteen machines capable of speeds of up to 70 km/h. CEERTA has been hosting car and motorcycle driving schools and enthusiast clubs on its dirt (1,000 to 2,000 meters) and asphalt (2,474 meters) circuits for almost 20 years. CEERTA also organizes open days, safety courses and tests for new vehicles and equipment. Activities that harmoniously combine passion and work, sensations and training, conviviality and team spirit.

New address for Josiane Debris and Marie-Christine Sartin, teaching painters, who have been leading classes since the early 1990s. During the sessions, observation, drawing, portrait, live model, perspective, initiation or improvement of painting techniques are mixed. Héli Volcan offers panoramic helicopter flights of 10 to 30 minutes over Issoire, the Sancy massif and the Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne. Feel like an adventurer? Take the "Pilot for a day" experience, a 15 or 30-minute initiation to flying over Issoire, during which you'll be at the controls of a helicopter!

A small walk of 2 h in sous that makes it possible to win Capuchin. You can also join other paths such as the Doctors or Milles-Pis. Many other trails leave the station. This is the case of the Chemin-Roze road - the name of the two artists who created it - leading to the Grande Cascade.

Sioule Loisirs rents canoes and kayaks to discover the Combrailles along the Sioule. The center offers several routes ranging from 11 to 25 km, divided between the gorges hautes for families and the gorges de Chouvigny for the more athletic. Picnic breaks are available at the foot of Château-Rocher or on the Menat bridge. Changing rooms, showers and a restaurant with panoramic terrace complete the infrastructure. Life jackets, watertight picnic containers, boats and paddles are supplied. A via ferrata is also available.

This adventure park stretches across several hectares of forest overlooking the town of Saint-Nectaire, between forest and mountain. More than 100 high-perched workshops await adventurers in complete safety: monkey bridge, zip line, suspension bridge, Tarzan jump... With its four courses (including the marmoset course for toddlers) and its two via ferrata of 130 and 175 m, it is one of the largest parks in the region. A nice idea for birthdays, the courses can be enjoyed with the family as well as with friends.

The Chapdes battery battery is known to amateurs at national level for the quality of their music. In 2013, it will celebrate its 100 years. She is also a music school and the quality of her teaching allows her students to have many awards. This sports complex dedicated to athletics was inaugurated in 2002. It hosts departmental, regional and national competitions. Several French indoor track and field championships have allowed the best athletes to compete on the eight lanes of the 60-meter track and on the vault. Among them, Olympic pole vault gold medalist Renaud Lavillenie, crowned French champion in 2016 in the hall that can seat up to 2,700 people. This is also where the Clermont Auvergne Athletics Club trains for competitions. Gymnastics and fencing events, conferences and training in the field of sports are also held here.

Want to discover an activity with sled dogs? In summer and winter, you can enjoy a first experience in a sled driven by a musher, in the heart of the volcanoes. A unique and unforgettable experience. Each baptism begins with an educational session, comfortably installed in a yurt, to learn but especially to understand the functioning of these Nordic dogs and their pack. Here, the huskies are sumptuous and the musher passionate. In short, an experience to be tried, just to think you are Paul-Emile Victor or Jack London.

In summer and winter, the Parrot-Nature resort offers locals and visitors several outdoor leisure activities. In the summer, you can rent mountain bikes or VTTAE (electrically assisted) to enjoy the 9 marked circuits starting from the resort (from 4 to 38 km). In winter, weather permitting, put on a pair of snowshoes and set off on one of the six marked trails, one of which leads to the Signal du Luguet (1,551 m altitude) in 8 km. Children can enjoy sledding on the white gold.
