The Aéroclub d'Aire-sur-l'Adour offers sightseeing flights and flying courses. Glider, microlight or plane (1 to 3 people), how would you like to get into the air? The 30-minute flights give you a chance to fly over the Tursan region around Aire-sur-Adour. We'd be tempted by a discovery flight in a two-seater glider to enjoy the silence. Following the demise of the big Latécoère seaplanes that were the pride of the Mermoz, Guillaumet and other generations, floatplanes eventually deserted our lakes, rivers and seashores, followed by hydrobases and other hydrosurfaces. OJB, a professional skydiving school affiliated with the Fédération Française de Parachutisme and the Fédération des Exploitants Professionnels du Parachutisme, offers baptisms, skydiving training and skydiving courses. Armed with a medical certificate of no contraindication to skydiving less than 3 months old, you can meet at the Mimizan aerodrome, where certified instructors will take charge of you. The school is the only one in the Landes region to be ranked in the top 10 French schools approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

A first glider flight is an unforgettable experience. Take-off is by winch, a new launch method that's becoming increasingly popular in France. It allows you to reach an altitude of 500 meters in less than a minute, a guaranteed sensation. Enjoy a silent flight in the updrafts over the Landes, with views of the lakes and ocean.
