You don't need to make a round trip to Dublin to experience an Irish evening: just walk through the door of the O'Briens pub. The warm, relaxed atmosphere is spread over three levels. Each floor has its own intimate space, decorated to suit. On the first floor, there's a long counter, because there will be lots of you. When you come to Carcassonne, you visit the medieval City, but you also go down to the city to enjoy the charm and friendliness of the Place Carnot (very lively on market days). Petit Moka is the perfect place to take the time, the opportunity to take a small coffee, a tea or if the lunch break approaches to enjoy a simple and good kitchen (see restaurant section). In the afternoon, the terrace is taken by young moms who come with their small blonde heads to taste an ice or a small crepe. Hadrian has taken over the Canard Bleu, the Carcassonne epicurean and aesthete's den, set up a few years ago by the traveler chef Robert Haumont. Since then, the place has been called the aptly named Tasting Room, to get away from the crowds of the city center. Over the years, Hélène has made his hole with a family clientele at 90% carcassonnaise. The brewery's curtain rises at the aurores, six days a week. At lunchtime, the house serves salads and plain dishes and in the evening the brewery only opens for groups, on reservation, except on Thursday and Friday evenings where relaxation with musical animation sometimes extend until late. The Fond Fond love the fiesta, and student evenings regularly take place on Thursday evening.

Le Cosy du Plo is the address for gourmet taste buds, with two separate boutiques-tea rooms: one in the heart of the city, the other in town. To reconcile indulgence and well-being, we go for natural, local, carefully selected products. The star products: artisanal ice creams and pastries. But we also go for fresh salads at lunchtime, homemade soups, fruit juices and detox smoothies, dishes and drinks that match the seasons... Relax in this cocoon, take your time and enjoy!

Marrying yoga and pop rock, this is the crazy bet that Karine, Frédérique and Isabelle took on about ten years ago when they created the QUAI N°10 in Castelnaudary... A good fifty concerts later, the place, ideally located on the Canal du Midi, regularly welcomes small local underground groups, but also workshops and thematic conferences. The must is the yoga and pilates classes, a multi-generation reference in the heart of the city that Karine offers for the release of happiness hormones...

A V&B in Castelnaudary, a successful bet. Same manager as the one in Carcassonne, the concept is the same and works very well in the city of Chaur. Initial concept by two epicureans who love wine and beer, V and B quickly spread the good mood in the sad industrial areas of France. Today, they are friendly stores and bars with 350 beers, 300 wines, 200 whiskies, 100 rums from all over the world and the desire to bring together generations and styles around boards of cold cuts and cheese at low prices.

We love a store that smells of local, organic cooking! The Thé and Co salon offers a wide range of local products for sale: coffees, teas, jams, olive oils, Aude wines, local beer and the famous elderberry lemonade. A child of the country (a talent of the land), nicknamed Doumé, with his punk style, and an alternative group Les Marto's Pikeurs, fully at 100%, created the ID ID to promote audois and regional artists. Patatas bravas, tempura shrimps with Mosquito sauce, homemade chicken tenders with luxury sauce, tuna tataki... perfect to accompany your aperitif.
