Created by the association Tous deux roues, this place allows you to repair and maintain your bike with, if necessary, the technical support of an employee or a volunteer. All the tools necessary for the operations are available on the spot. In the "parts room", you can find old or new parts to make repairs. For a friendly learning experience, participate in the "dismantling apéros", one Wednesday per month. These workshops are open to beginners and experts alike.

It helps modest families to go on vacation and provides emergency support. Many activities are organized. It is also a place of listening, which participates in campaigns to bring people together, beyond their ethnic and religious affiliation.
Secours Catholique functions essentially thanks to volunteers. There are nearly 850 volunteers in the Cantal/Puy-de-Dôme delegation, which is not necessarily enough to ensure the various activities offered. The structure is always looking for volunteers.
RESTOS DU CŒUR
Read moreSpecialized in food aid, the departmental headquarters of the Restos du coeur also offers workshops for its beneficiaries: integration workcamps to find a job, but also fight against illiteracy, hairdressing, sewing, computers, self-esteem... The structure has set up personalized accompaniment for access to housing, to various rights, to budgeting, to obtaining a microcredit... These missions are carried out thanks to more than 800 volunteers. To help the more than 6,000 families welcomed each year by the Restos du coeur 63, you can join the team of volunteers, support the association financially or participate in the annual collections.
TERRA PRETA

Terra Preta has answered this question by setting up the Archipel des Salins, a bio-waste collection site open to individuals and professionals. This waste is then transformed into compost, which feeds the green space created on site. Every week, many workshops are offered, such as learning different sowing techniques or learning how to make cuttings, basketry, recognizing the animals present in the gardens... Terra Preta has also set up a woodworking workshop.
INSERFAC

It offers integration courses for people in difficulty, through different workshops and integration sites: Inserfac cleanliness, Autour du costume which manages 30,000 pieces of costumes, Art et Nature, Etat d'esprit, Atelier le Thiers, Riom, Limagne et volcans, Autour du livre, plastification and encoding of books for libraries and finally the Ironing Workshop. These workshops allow for the training of employees. No less than 120 people are accompanied towards employment, supervised by a team of professionals.

There are permanent offices every week, including one in Issoire on Tuesdays.
ANEF
Read moreANEF is an association whose objective is to help the most disadvantaged and to fight against exclusion. It focuses its activities on two main areas: its accommodation and housing centre includes a shelter and social reintegration centre, social assistance for returning to housing, support for returning to work, and a local public health reception service. Its second area of activity focuses on child protection, with educational assistance and reception in educational homes. Social workers, psychologists, nurses, doctors: nearly 180 experienced professionals work for the integration of the public supported by ANEF.

What does ils offer?International work camps allow volunteers - from the age of 14 - to work in favour of local development and the general interest. They concern the development of natural areas and the restoration of heritage and aim to improve the living conditions of local populations (building a village's bread oven, cleaning the banks of a river, organizing a festival, creating activities...).

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Romania... and the list is still long. It should not be forgotten that ANEC also offers projects in France (Ile-de-France, Grand Est, Midi-Pyrénées and Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne, etc.).
Prices and conditions. No special qualifications. Be between 14 and 17 years old for teenagers and between 18 and 25 years old for adults (17 years old with parental authorization and first experience in teenagers' workcamps). Under the aegis of the European Union, young people aged 18 to 25 can participate in European Voluntary Service (EVS) or Civic Service, for a period of 6 months to 1 year, particularly in Asia.
DAHLIR

To achieve this, volunteers work during the workshops. More than just a simple repair, this is also a time for sharing and learning techniques. 25 GISÈLE HALIMI
Read more25 Gisèle Halimi is a unique place in France dedicated to welcoming and supporting women. Here, women can find listening and advice, as well as a place to relax and recharge their batteries. Three associations are permanently present: CIDFF63, Planning Familial 63 and AVEC-France Victimes 63. On-site workshops and other services include family mediation, a social worker, a family lawyer and legal assistance. The centre is open to all women and girls, whatever their needs or path in life.
