A precursor in the field of café-reading, Les Augustes has existed since 1997! Anticonformist and atypical, it remains an example in terms of cultural defense. Managed by salaried employees, but also by volunteers, the establishment offers books and newspapers. Evenings, mornings or afternoons with a theme around board games, literature, languages, society facts are organized all year long. A program is published every month. It is a precursory place in terms of solidarity and social economy. Both cultural and commercial, since it has a bistro side, the café tends to become a real place of cultural diffusion.
