Its extr-comfortable 12 rooms are decorated in an authentic and trendy style, recalling the splendors of Provence. For food, you wil sit on the attractive terrace or in one of the dining rooms with beautifully laid tables in a setting of elegance and refinement. The cuisine is regional, tasty, generous and inventive. Among the suggestions of the moment (the menu changes with the seasons and markets), you can taste eggs with truffles, duck breast, wild boar stew, jugged hare or these feet and packages that win every vote. For all lovers of good food! Le Couvert has been bathed in its juice since the 1900s. Taken over eight years ago by Johnny and Marine, craftsmen and cooks, it opens its doors to a pretty intimate, rustic, Provençal and comfortable room that has recently been given a makeover. On the walls are pictures of Marine's ancestors. The covered terrace under the arcades is popular for most of the year when the weather is good. The plate, on the other hand, is traditional, regional and inventive. Johnny works with seasonal products, meat and fish. Suggestions include: guinea fowl with olives, skate wing with lemon and capers. It is Marine who signs the desserts like this cheesecake with its red fruit coulis, or this chocolate mousse with salted butter. Everything is homemade and it's a treat! A few dozen meters from the center of Gréoux-les-Bains, the Oliviers terrace offers a superb view of the Verdon valley and the olive grove. The welcome is always smiling and the quality is there. As for the chef's cooking, it is traditional, regional with Mediterranean accents, with cooking in the wood oven whenever it is possible, like for cassolettes, or pizzas of course!
