This pub offers a traditional restoration in a rustic and warm setting. In winter, the open fireplace is very valuable. At noon, a formula and two menus are offered according to appetites. The kitchen is classic but made home like desserts, caramel cream or sugar pancake. The price is reasonable and the reception is considerate. After the coffee, you can climb upstairs to make a billiard or launch on the ground floor in some darts. The bar is open in the afternoon with a beautiful collection of whiskies.

For who wants to eat in pure tradition, Le Chabur is a reference! Yet, located in the nature of the, forest, the establishment always. Bruno's welcome is always high and you will be set up in a large rustic room… to taste rustic dishes. Those who do not know the Berry will have a good overview of local dishes because they are well represented on the map: head of calf sauce ravigote, rooster in the barbouille way, tangy sauce sauce. You can also taste snails to the Provençal, the calf marengo and the cherry duck fillets. If you are on a Sunday evening, you will be offered a special, simple, but attractive card. A variety of omelettes (aux in season), the famous fromagée fromagée, the plate of raw ham are all the choices to finish the weekend to good simple and restart a new week.

In the full Sologne but nevertheless in downtown, La Sauvagine is melted in the completely typical decor of these small villages where time seems to be stopped since already long time. The à la carte wakes up the tastebuds: game in authentic season and dishes (pike perch with beurre blanc, coq au vin, small salted with the lentils, stew of wild boar...) whose some specialties as the calf's head ravigote sauce abound at the sides of regional cheeses and local desserts like famous tart of the sisters Tatin, the classical regional one. The service is friendly and natural and the smile is on all the lips. A family and cordial address for a reasonable budget. For the groups, ask and you made to measure will be made.

This restaurant located outside the village, in the middle of the forest, also seems timeless. We enter the lower room of a typical Sologne house with its brick, half-timbered walls, beams and chimney. The welcome is smiling and the cuisine is traditional, based on fresh and local produce. We serve you rooster in wine, game terrine, rabbit in cider, snail profiteroles, berrichon pâté (traditionally served at Easter) and of course goat cheese as a starter or on the cheese platter. The atmosphere is family. The room is quite small, it is better to book even if the terrace allows to welcome more guests during the summer season.

A showcase, a bistro of the last century, which suggests good traditional and family cuisine. Indeed, you need to push the door to smell the smells that escape from the furnaces. Martine warmly welcomes you to offer local cuisine, developed daily, mainly from fresh products: Calf's liver with small onions, perche and Dutch sauce, head of palm dressing, Burgundy beef, fine apple pie… On order, you can taste fire, couscous, villages, sauerkraut, cassoulet, or why not mussels? Regularly themed evenings are organized, for Valentine's Day, for Saint-San, the third Sunday in September, or for new Beaujolais, the third Thursday in November. This year, for the March 9 elections, Le Bon Peacock even planned an election day menu! Martine also offers home catering service, perfect for receiving, at home, having nothing more to do than the guests! Alain, the husband of Martine, is looking after the grocery store, right next to the restaurant. It is at your service from Monday to Saturday, from 8 am to 20 pm and Sunday from 8 am to 13 pm. You will find all the rays necessary to help you, or even do all your shopping: early, barking, charcuterie, butchery, hygiene, and maintenance. You will also find a gas deposit, a cleaning deposit, as well as a loaf of bread during the baker's vacation.
