Through fields and forests, this path takes you between undergrowth and countryside. In the heart of the Martimont wood, you can admire the Buse fountain, which has been distributing water for over 150 years. This wood is a place of history, where Celtic treasures (torcs and gold coins) were discovered in the 19th century. Since then, these relics adorn the Metropolitan Museum of New York. Other discoveries are still possible on the enchanted path: the local artist Patrick Jouret has populated the edges of the path with his strange creatures.

Located near Brussels and in the heart of the valleys of Ittre and Nivelles, the golf course Château de la Tournette is regularly cited among the most beautiful golf courses in the world because it is dominated by a splendid 16th century castle. It offers three courses on a 160-hectare estate: two championship golf courses - the American and the English - and a beautiful compact course: the Orival, a 9-hole course that can be used for training or for beginners. In the heart of the club house, you can come and have a drink or lunch with a dish of local specialities.

Welcome to the roof of Belgium! Standing proudly at 694 meters, the Signal de Botrange and its tower are the high points of this cross-border park with Germany. It's also the starting (or finishing) point for hikes on the Hautes-Fagnes plateau. Walking on duckboards, you'll discover an open peat bog landscape which, when it's foggy, is even more mysterious. But the park also boasts fir forests, rivers and lakes, bike trails and even an alpine ski resort at Ovifat!

The first adventure park in Alsace Aventure on Walloon soil, Natura Parc is a very nice concept, in perfect harmony with nature: nine courses in the trees and unforgettable zip lines, including two round trips over the Plate Taille lake. A pendulum jump, a free fall and many other activities to share with family and friends. Activities for all levels and all ages. And always with maximum safety. A barbecue area is available for rent during the day or in the evening. Breathtaking!

Golfing with a view of the Butte de Lion de Waterloo, if that's not class! Because this is one of the courses offered by this prestigious club (elected the best in Belgium in 2020 and also the most successful). The club offers three courses: the Marache, the Lion and the Bois-Héros, as well as a training course well suited to novices. This is the club in all its glory, with greens designed to the line and manicured as it should be. And after a short game, the club's restaurant, run by Hugues Mattagne, awaits you.

Goolfy and Laser Game Mons is a leisure center located in Mons. On site, you'll find 10 activities grouped together on a single site. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, organizing a team-building event, planning a hen or stag party, or taking part in a school outing, you'll find the formula to suit your needs. The center also offers a laser game, for which reservations are required.

Starting from the Maison du Pays des Collines, this path will take you through the village of Ellezelles, and you will discover all its folklore. All along the path are works of the local artist Jacques Vandewattyne (1932-1999), pioneer of the folk-art movement. This path has become an attraction in Belgian Hainaut over the years, where visitors can admire statues and engravings inspired by Ellezellois traditions: the devil with a fiddle, the green goat and the witch Eul Pichoûre. If it rains, bring boots!

This program combines two Belgian passions: cycling and beer. Departing from the Centre nautique de l'Orient (or from the tourist office if you've booked a bike), you're ready to pedal your way through the Tournais countryside and along the Péronnes canal with the help of knot points. Three itineraries are proposed, but all aim at the Dubuisson brewery (which brews Bush, one of Belgium's strongest beers) to enjoy a guided tour of their facilities (Saturdays, 3pm) or the Beerstorium (open daily), before returning to Tournai.

This verdant setting is a real eye-catcher. It's the ideal place for relaxation, conviviality and sport. At the beginning of the season, free introductory lessons are organized, and a range of courses is available for those who wish to go further. Next to the green, you'll be amazed by the cuisine at Birdie Avernas: an excellent brasserie offering a balanced menu of fish, seafood and tasty meats, with a terrace for summer evenings. Françoise takes care of everything and always welcomes you with a smile.

Here's an easy 10-kilometre walk from the lower town of Eupen itself! As you leave the town, you enter a beautiful forest, first of deciduous trees, then of pines, following the course of the Vesdre. Soak up the sounds of nature and the rushing water. The Vesdre, which flows through lower Eupen, is one of three rivers that feed the Eupen dam and artificial lake, the country's third-largest drinking water reserve, which supplies Eupen, the Pays de Herve and even part of Liège.

The dam, which you can drive over (even drive your car over) and observe from both sides (reservoir side and lake side), is truly impressive. It's a veritable wall of stone, holding back an astronomical quantity of water. It took 12 years to complete (the dam was inaugurated in 1950). If you look at the lake side, you can see the gentle relief of the Hautes-Fagnes, covered with conifers that appear more black than green. Are we still in Belgium or have we been transported to Canada? A landscape that can be appreciated even better from the terrace of the Besucherzentrum Wesertalsperre, a panoramic restaurant high above the dam. Now's the time to take a break, wolf down some schnitzels, boulets liégeois or a nice waffle, before returning to Eupen via another path, which is part educational trail, between forest and countryside. The trail is very well signposted, so you won't get lost.
