What could be more pleasant than a good Italian espresso to start the day? A good espresso on the terrace facing the elegant Piazza Dante! In this mythical café, open since 1953, they serve a 100% Neapolitan coffee, zuccherato (sweet) or amaro (without sugar), which can also be enjoyed at the counter in a picturesque 1950s-style setting. Some Neapolitan pastries and pastries will fill a small hunger. The hot chocolate is also excellent. The establishment has another address, Piazza Garibaldi 72 (next to the train station).

As its name suggests, this bar invites us to waste our time having a drink, reading a book and listening to music. Very good atmosphere of the bohemian youth of Piazza Bellini who do not take their heads. It is also a good place to forget the frenetic bustle of the streets of Naples, as their slogan says "down with the infernal cadences". On some evenings, the bar also offers DJ sets. In front of the music conservatory, windows from which escape, from time to time, a few piano notes.

Located in the former cloister of the Santa Caterina a Formiello church, converted into a textile factory in the days of the Bourbons. In its 700 m² space, the Lanificio25 collective offers a bar with snacks and cultural events of all kinds: contemporary art exhibitions, concerts, theater, dance, debates... The aim is to create a place where culture and art blend with entertainment. The industrial architecture of the place is very suggestive. Enjoy cocktails, wines and smoothies in the large inner courtyard.

Nice little bar in an alley parallel to the main corso, with a festive atmosphere. Shots of all colors, for all tastes, and funny syringes filled with a gelatinous magic potion to start the evening. To conclude, karaoke is available every night and a Beer Bike ride is offered to the more sporty ones! Open since 2014, Shot Bar is already a favorite bar for young people from all walks of life passing through Sorrento, as evidenced by the flags on the walls that customers have given to Vincenzo, the owner.

With its curious facade of twisted pillars decorated with blue ceramic scales, Bar Sirena does not go unnoticed. But its indisputable asset is its terrace overlooking the beach, on the other side of the street. What a pleasure it is to lounge in the shade of the umbrella pines while sipping a strong espresso or an Amalfi spritz (made with limoncello and lemon sorbet)! The establishment also offers paninis, pizzas and a snack service. Prices are quite reasonable for Amalfi and for the location.

A chic tavern, dedicated to music, with many trompe-l'oeil paintings. Guido, the popular singer and master of the place, with his guitar, his good mood, his flowered shirts and his communicative energy, sets the place on fire. He plays classic Italian and Neapolitan tunes. For a few years now, he has been assisted by his son Gianluigi, who has helped to rejuvenate the tavern's clientele and open it up to new horizons. No dress code, the place is open to all... but it is still quite stuffy!

The bar-restaurant Da Cocò, ideally situated at the foot of the Aragonese castle, is open from morning to night and is pleasant at any time of the day. From here it is also possible to go to a small, charming and little frequented beach, the spiaggia di Cartaromana. In summer, taxi-boats usually charge €5 per person for a return trip to take you there. There are deckchairs, sunbeds and a small snack bar to make the most of this beach. It is only accessible by boat and therefore often peaceful.
