Contrast between the beauty of the places and the mediocrity of the offered catering services is impressive. And, we do not talk about the deplorable reception, impolite service... And yet, Café du Pond is still part of the Lyon's addresses where you go with much or less happiness according to your good fortune. Sign of gratitude, the sport scar that you let idling in front of the entrance, before going to park it in the underground car park of the place. See no kind of jealousy on our part, we like beautiful things. But when most of the place de Lyautey seems to be privatized only for the pleasure of some drinkers of luxury rosé, it bothers us! Eating is delicate and the "fresh" in seasonal menu are only of the name: Caprese salad, Terrace du Pond burger, cod loin. What is more annoying is the bad reception they reserve for those who are not regulars, until they realize that they are not welcome or ignoring them... In short, an address to avoid, even in dream location!

Off the tourist trail, this traditional osteria offers typical, high-quality Venetian cuisine, using fresh local produce. The menu changes with the seasons, but Venetian specialties always take pride of place. Homemade desserts are also excellent. The wine list, most of which is regional, is well-stocked. A few tables on the terrace in summer are hard to get hold of, as the Venetians will undoubtedly have preceded you. Isabella is a great listener and runs her restaurant with passion. A true moment of pleasure!

How to expect a Better situation for a lunch break, a refreshing break in the heart of the city? At the foot of the Slopes, in the "Shopping" area, the Brasserie des 3 Rivières extends its magnificent terrace in the Place des Breeding. Between two columns of Buren, we sit under the huge parasols for a pure moment of pleasure and discover that Lyon is happy to take a holiday. If the sun is not part of the game, there is refuge in a room that opens in the evening on several universes. At the bottom it is an electro-detached abbey, on the floor is salsa in the Casa Latina. Two environments that allow you to prolong dinner. But come back to our terrace to choose, thanks to an efficient service, a salad made of hot goat, Serrano ham or a generous nice salad. Other possibilities, frites moules molds for only 9 € or a beautiful tender tender and its sauce. A simple, but made kitchen. A pleasant way to enjoy Lyon and, at weekends, choose its atmosphere to continue the evening.

The address is not unknown since several signs have succeeded one another, but Futé has happily discovered the latest: Casa Bianca. It floats like a holiday air, dolce vita, on this white house and with colours of Italy. Announcing "Aperitivo, restaurant and club", Casa Bianca happily plays on the three blackboards, opening its doors in wide opening hours so that we can benefit from its beautiful terrace or a dining room - we could say several dining rooms - of impressive dimensions, for a long time. Smiling reception to serve us tapas at the bar around a good glass of wine. Moments to share with friends in an increasingly festive atmosphere as the day (and the evening with a club closing at 4 am) progresses. At lunchtime, suggestions on the blackboards according to the market and the inspiration of the chef. For lunch and dinner, a menu of traditional cuisine with Italian accents: antipasti, bruschetta, but also a pan-fried foie gras to get started. Tartares, beef or chef's burger (plaice fillet), scallop risotto, fettuccine or parmigiana of aubergines in Casa Bianca style. Of course, tiramisu or a Bavarois with anise to finish. The rue des Marronniers, traditionally dedicated to Lyon cuisine and not always the best, offers us a new Stopover in Belle-Ile. While last year, we had the choice between Brittany and Savoy, the balance has definitively turned to the west side of France with new owners. Small terrace in the street, warm rooms covered with blond woodwork adorned with a few marine photos, reception and service of exemplary discretion and remarkable efficiency. This leaves us all leisure to savour the pancakes and pancakes of a genuine crêpier adhering to a group of real professionals who defend the good taste of buckwheat flour, here 100% organic, and a completely homemade fabrication based on fresh produce. The classics are déclinent déclinent, from ham egg cheese to spinach cream cream, and we cracked for a galette to Brittany's massive that one would have liked even more generous (when it's good…). Beautiful salads of the vegetable garden, well-appointed and well composed, and among the many pancakes, a wonderful treat to the caramel salt De salt, a treat.

The Budreddin is located right next to the Liab-i-Khaouz basin. The address is touristic but pleasant. We eat good local cuisine, with specialities that are a little different from the ordinary. In particular, there is the possibility of eating vegetarian food. Try pumpkin manty (if it's in season) or the many salads, such as Gulistan with cooked vegetables. Meat lovers needn't worry: of course there is all the mutton you want on the menu. One of the things we recommend is jiz.

Sushi is an art that few cooks master. True, very little on Lyon and we are happy to enter the world of Sushi Wa Lounge, small frêre of an excellent Japanese restaurant, the Takeyama located on the same street. Eating at the Sushi Wa Lounge is an unforgettable experience to renew as often as possible (and as it is open every day!). Without being frightened by the word "lounge", too, in all the sauces, we discovered a splendid interior, a harmonious blend of Japanese tradition and modern touches. If the small lounge with a low table is most pleasant, you can settle near the famous treadmill where the wonders prepared by a Korean chef in sushi, maki, sashimi and other California roll. The plats soups, salads and original dishes that bring us to the land of the rising sun are also included in the plats. A quality, dépaysante and tasty address in the heart of Lyon.

A pleasant setting in a madrasa decorated with some souvenirs for sale. Plov, mantys and salads on the menu. Prices are a bit excessive, we pay especially for the good location in front of the Kalta Minor minaret, but the portions are decent and the welcome very friendly. The specialities prepared every day are affordable, some specialities cost a bit more, but we advise you to stay on the basics: salad and plov or kebabs. Nice terrace on the main street, ideal for a break and a Turkish coffee in the shade during the day.

A new address appreciated by young people in Samarkand who are a little connected or chic. We like to find ourselves among friends to sip a glass and share typical Russian dishes, or rather 'European', it seems more classy. Deco rather sober and wants to be a little modern or design: brick walls visible or painted white, all under some kind of rotunda. The outdoor terrace, or garden terrace as it is called here, is particularly pleasant in summer.

In this little trattoria in the Monti district, located in a very quiet alley just steps from Cavour, the quality is not the appointment.

Almost opposite the Ditirambo, this restaurant is a delight for those seeking to discover the true flavors of Italian cuisine, and more specifically traditional Roman osterias. The head of the establishment, Antonello, decided not to compromise with the quality of the products: freshness and authenticity are at your disposal. On the menu, rigatoni all 'amatriciana or alla romana (baked cod with dried grapes, gables and tomato), typical Roman dishes. Don't miss it!

Known for a long time in the old Charlemagne district (becoming since then the new Confluence district), the Midi Minuit brasserie was set up in the heart of the Presqu'île (the peninsula), Rue de la République, two years ago. And that's why, one Sunday of balances opening, your favourite Petit Futé was sitting at a brasserie, one of the very few restaurants open in the sector with so wide opening hours! First good point, Midi Minuit has kept a large part of the superb decoration of the place by tastefully vegetating it. In addition, a small terrace sheltered from the passageway as a bonus. As for the service, we felt the intent to do well, some degree of efficiency and the attempts to smile behind a stained blouse, but let's say there is still room for improvement. The most amazing thing is undoubtedly the cuisine. A true short menu (problem, more salmon steak…) and dishes home cooked by a chef who holds up. Some snacks and flammekueches (that could be avoided), giant salads, but above all a lamb shoulder confit in its pearl juice, a duck breast and fig chips or a royal sea bream fillet in almond crumble. All is done at honest rates. Desserts slightly lower for the quality and slightly higher for the rates (a floating island with citruses a little bit tough at €7). In a nutshell, the address of République has pleasantly surprised us, even though some adjustments still need to be made.

The specialities of the house, such as Sultan Sarma or Ottoman Lamb, are generally appreciated. You can also enjoy the terrace which is one of the highlights of the restaurant.

You have a direct view of the ten dishes proposed: entries around 6 € (rocket shrimp risotto, spaghetti aux, gnocchi), calf liver to Venetian vénitienne sauté to onions, green lasagna to pick, segregation of fish (between 7 € and 10 €)… You can eat at the bar, it is cheaper. We are here to drink a glass of wine or grappa, because it is a wine cellar that surrounds you: So you can buy a bottle to accompany your meal or to let it grow at home. You will also be offered wine with glass (1,80 € at the table). The location is particularly spacious.

We are not really on the side of Chez Swann, since this passage (careful, it is not a traboule) open between Quai Saint-Antoine and Rue Mercière takes us to Thailand. A totally unexpected setting for an exotic restaurant in many ways. First, because among a series of bouchons and other custom-tailored restaurants for the many tourists who pace up and down the neighbourhood, this one takes us where we do not expect to be, in Thailand. Secondly, because the restaurant occupies a more than discrete passage, more visible by the Saône-side wharf than by Rue Mercière, and that it is settled on both sides of the passage! Two dining rooms facing each other to taste a good-quality Thai cuisine, made by a traditional chef. For the reception and the service, Futé continues to claim that they are irregular and you can be received with a smile, just as you may feel really unwanted. Futé tried to eat there this year, but a person told us that the service wouldn't start before 1pm! Don't get hungry too early… and resume work at 2pm. Another weak point in the house, the desserts that are not a specialty of the destination. Original address rooted in the local landscape, but too "uncertain" to be recommended.

Former "Da Alfredo al Campidoglio", this restaurant is located right at the foot of the Dissembling rock. Already very well known in the 1950 s, it is the point of collapse of the entire population of the seventh Roman art. He has served, among other things, filming decor to the film We have loved so much. Roman cuisine and some Saturdays, music concerts on the terrace.

In Ichan kala, next to the Museum of Applied Arts which flanks the Islam Khodja minaret. Traditional cuisine under Virginia creeper in a madrasa dating from 1908. We eat in the courtyard or in the madrasah cells, your choice. The meals are limited to a few traditional plov recipes and achyk tchuktchuk salads (tomatoes, cucumbers, onions) but it is rather well made and served in portions worthy of the best appetizers. In spite of the tourist affluence, the rates also know how to remain wise, which is appreciable.

At Oldish, you can enjoy Egyptian specialties just a stone's throw from Tahrir Square, in a really pleasant setting. Melokhia, moussaka or hawawshi... the great classics of Egyptian and regional cuisine are tastefully prepared. Desserts are not to be outdone either. You'll have a particularly pleasant time in the small courtyard set around a huge palm tree with its pretty brick walls. Oldish offers a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of a busy street. Unique in the neighborhood! We recommend it.

Japanese restaurants have been fashionable in Tashkent for a long time, but they all end up aging a little too quickly. This newcomer on the Tashkent gastronomic scene will delight lovers of sushi and other seafood, since the best recipes are successful, and the chefs perfectly trained in the art of preparing raw fish. The soups will suit very well the light appetites willing to change a little from the mutton fat... The decoration is basic, nice and not too busy, with its Japanese touches which know how to keep a foot in Uzbekistan.

Just a stone's throw from the old port and the aquarium, in the historic center, this restaurant offers a new concept in pizza: gourmet pizza. An idea that's proving increasingly successful, with the emphasis on taste and the quality of the 100% natural products used, resulting in an incomparable bread flavor, both soft and crunchy, the result of long natural rising and excellent preparation. A pizza that has been elevated to the level of a gourmet dish! Don't miss the excellent house cocktails at aperitif time!

An old restaurant and famous for its dishes that you swallow on the thumb: paomo, of course, but also numerous sets of cold dishes.

A nice setting for a very pleasant kitchen. Perfect for Italian lunch in all simplicity.

A very good address, where you can test fried beans. Attention, the restaurant closes relatively early at am in general.

A little less tourist of Afunti. The dishes are good and generous, the show is about as noisy as at Afunti, but it has the merit to last less long…

Just a stone's throw from Tahir Square, this small fast-food Lebanese restaurant is a favorite with Cairoites. You can eat in or take away in the small room upstairs, but you'll probably have to wait at least 10 or 15 minutes, as the place is so busy. Here you can enjoy chawarma and other kebabs, in a simple but clean and flavorful kitchen. It's a friendly, family atmosphere, an opportunity to eat on the go like the locals, without any hygiene risks. We recommend it!

This restaurant is located on the first floor of the Face Bar. The decoration is magnificent, exclusively made of wooden furniture and antique statues from South East Asia. Thai dishes are excellent. The addition is equal to the benefits.
