The Transhumance festival brings life to the small village of Seix in June. You too can accompany the herds (sheep, cattle, horses, Mérens) into the mountains on five different itineraries during this traditional rendezvous. For years, Thursday evenings in summer have been enlivened by the tradition of a large popular banquet in Carla-Bayle. In the heart of the village, the Place de l'Europe comes alive with the pastel colors of its houses and the amazement of onlookers. Enjoy free concerts on this pretty square, large, lively and convivial tables with plates of local produce... and join in the dancing in the middle of the crowd! The centre for Choreographic Development of Toulouse-Midi-Pyrénées organizes this event featuring contemporary dance performances from France and elsewhere.

Active since 2001, the Toulouse-based association Les Vidéophages is a leading figure in the distribution of short films and image education. A genuine alternative in the audiovisual landscape, its programming is atypical, friendly and associative. Favoring partnerships with local authorities, cultural centers and educational structures, Vidéophages plays an active role in democratizing access to short films. The Faites de l'Image festival, launched in 2002, is emblematic of this desire to take images out of their context and reach out to all audiences.

It is dedicated to traditions, but its reputation has made it a festive custom not to be missed: the Sunday following the 15th of August is every year the rendez-vous of Loudenvielle where agro-pastoralism and local crafts are celebrated. On the banks of the magnificent Genos lake, discover the delicacies of a territory that lacks neither flavour nor character. More than 90 exhibitors reveal the best of a mountain that can be sung, danced and tasted... without counting the cost!

When the kids have their party, you can say that it moves! Imagine a real mountain village transformed into a village dedicated to games. From the thermal park to the town centre, the show is everywhere. The little ones can't leave the twenty or so huge inflatable structures. A park of games of skill and wooden games is set up. Theatrical shows bring together all these little people who religiously listen to the tales. An enchanting and regressive festival!

In this emblematic architectural and heritage venue in Toulouse's Saint-Cyprien district, on the banks of the Garonne River, the Fragments show invites you to discover the region's arts and crafts. A total of 80 exhibitors, representing 13 departments, will be on hand to share their passion with you. You'll find a wide range of crafts: furniture, architecture, jewelry, restoration, ceramics, leather, metal, goldsmiths, paper, textiles, glass...

The Coteaux de Quercy Wine Festival brings together the winegrowers of the Coteaux de Quercy to promote their wines in a convivial atmosphere. You're invited to taste the local vintages and, after the Confrérie's induction of new members, you and your family can enjoy a range of activities: demonstrations of ancient crafts, archery, children's workshops, giant and traditional wooden games, inflatable games, a culinary workshop and, last but not least, the aperitif-concert!

Artisans and producers from the Tarn region invite you to discover their delicious products at the Fête des Tarnivores in Albi! These two days of festivities in the heart of the city are an opportunity not only to highlight the work of all these enthusiasts, but also to taste the best local products: wines, beers, charcuterie and meats, cheeses, pastries, breads, jams, ready-made meals... Physical training is all year round: whether it is raining, selling or snowing! If the motivation is not always high in winter, here is an activity that should quickly change your mind: cross-country skiing! The Domaine de Mourtis, located less than two hours from Toulouse, has a Nordic area with 45 kilometres of slopes, at varying levels of difficulty. No doubt you can only delight in admiring Lady Nature in her white coat… And if you are rather snowshoes, you will also find for rent in the area.

Every year as autumn arrives, the rue de la Colombette gets coloured: it's time to gather around a fair that has existed since 1944. It is organised by the Commune Libre de la Colombette, founded at the end of the war, which defends the craftsmen and independent shopkeepers of the district. For three days, in a joyful street market with more than two hundred exhibitors, meet shopkeepers and cultural associations involved in concerts, workshops and events. Present in Toulouse for over 30 years, the Séquence Court-Métrage festival has become a not-to-be-missed event for lovers of short films. Every year, over 1,300 short films, ranging from fiction to animation to documentary, are screened during the festival. From the four corners of the globe, these little audiovisual nuggets offer a rich and varied panorama of contemporary short films. Whether you're a seasoned film buff or simply curious, Séquence Court-Métrage is sure to satisfy with its rich and exciting program.

The association Toulouse Polars du Sud was born from the meeting of book professionals and readers. It organizes evenings, meetings and exhibitions to promote detective literature and to encourage people who are far away from it to read. Its most important event takes place on the second weekend of October with its annual festival: during three days, the noir novel falls on the pink city! Mainly centered in the Mirail district, it also takes place in libraries, media libraries and bookstores in the city center and the surrounding area.

D'Artagnan's native village had to celebrate its famous musketeer. As in a live show, all the inhabitants participate in costume as peasants, musicians, barons, hunters and even bohemians and they color the streets of Lupiac. The whole village and its visitors dance, sing and meet at the gourmet market, the craft stands or at the traditional music concerts. You will spend a wonderful day here, which brings back to life a bygone era.

For some years now, the lake of Lourdes has been taking its summer quarters and to make these quarters synonymous with real holidays, it even transforms its shores into a real seaside! Sand, parasols and deckchairs: Lourdes Plage is the favourite destination for those who want to take a dip in an idyllic setting. A 280^m2 floating pool has been set up on the water. The bathing area is safe and a first aid post watches over the summer swimmers. Lourdes Plage is ideal if you want to relax. A real smart plan.

Far less famous than the Mirande festival, and also more recent, the Vic-Fezensac Western Country Festival nonetheless attracts enthusiasts of this line dance straight from the United States of America. The dancers don their boots and stetsons, and step to the rhythm of the banjo and fiddle. Far West-inspired entertainment and free concerts are also organized in the town center, which is redecorated in the colors of the American flag for the occasion. The festival will celebrate its ^6th edition in 2024.

For a quarter of a century, this unique festival has been a sailing stage on the Canal du Midi. The Convivencia cultural association, located on the southern outskirts of Toulouse in Ramonville, programs concerts on a traveling barge. A variety of world music is represented as the barge travels from Toulouse to the Mediterranean. Each port of call has its own program. Concerts are accompanied by tastings, river heritage events and exhibitions... Great festive and convivial moments along the water.

This festival south of Toulouse immerses visitors in life in the Middle Ages: medieval tents and stalls, workshops and demonstrations, wooden games, stories and discoveries of Occitan culture... The day closes with a grand historical sound and light show retracing the battle of Muret, complete with fireworks, projections and stunts... 150 extras take part! An emblematic event in the land of rugby, the Toulouse Rugby Festival is a festive event open to all, with joyful entertainment dedicated to the oval ball. On the program: exhibition matches in classic rugby and wheelchair rugby, initiations for children, a host of fun activities... Several tournaments are organized: rugby à 5, women's rugby, rugby-entreprise and inter-school matches for the youngest. It's a celebration of sport that usually ends with a giant Haka and a broadcast of a TOP 14 match!

Traditionally festive, Nogaro organizes numerous events over 4 days during its fête votive: funfair, lively bodega, pétanque and fishing competitions, traditional aperitifs and meals, interville bullfighting games between Nogaro and neighboring Riscle in the arenas, hiking and horse-riding, horse-drawn carriage rides, acrobatic displays, humorous parade and flower parade, garage sale and regional produce fair, Landes races, cow release in the streets, fireworks and disco. You thought bandas were the preserve of the Landes and Basque regions? The Hautes-Pyrénées have long since adopted the tradition, and now have their own festival! Pierrefitte-Nestalas resounds to the sound of bass drums and brass instruments played by 300 musicians before the eyes of over 8,000 spectators. Passe-rue, bodegas and parades form a joyful and noisy common thread, while everywhere it's time for fun: tug-of-war, grand Paquito, dances and gourmet stalls... A colorful and emotional event that will leave you with wonderful memories!

The association Toulouse à Table organizes culinary events throughout the year, but Le Grand Banquet is the event of the year! On the Place du Capitole, the event is conceived as a place of gustatory discoveries, meetings, sales, information, in a word: sharing. The watchword: to promote local know-how and sublimate regional products. Themed evening events are organized on large tables around cheese, oysters, foie gras, beer... A great festive event!

Organized by the Binaros association, the Salon du Livre Pyrénéen is a literary event promoting books about the Pyrenees. Initiated by two enthusiasts, it showcases the richness and diversity of Pyrenean culture through meetings with authors, conferences, exhibitions and events. For two days, novels and essays on heritage, history and the environment take center stage, with the award of the Prix du Livre Pyrénéen. In addition to French and Spanish, Basque, Occitan and Catalan are also spoken... It's a wonderful event that brings people together in a warm and instructive atmosphere.

In the Jardin des Tilleuls in Lourdes, the town comes alive for several days of festivities. Rugby is in the spotlight again, this time in the Tarn! For Albi is one of the strongholds of French rugby, at the crossroads of numerous rugby clubs. So, in September, come and join us for this great festival of rugby, where you and your family and friends can enjoy a giant bodega to the strains of bandas, and stroll around the stands of the many exhibitors. L'Isle-Jourdain gets festive in July! Organized by the Comité des Fêtes, the festivities are as varied as they are festive: funfair, merry-go-rounds, numerous food stalls and refreshment stands in local colors, pétanque and fishing competitions, traditional dances with live bands on the Esplanade des Pyrénées square... Every year for over thirty years, organized by the Fébus Aban association, these medieval festivities bring together over 400 extras and 50 horsemen to parade through the streets of the beautiful bastide town of Mazères on Saturday at 9 p.m. and on Sunday at 4 p.m. before the show. The Mise Au Point festival, known as MAP, is a cultural event entirely free of charge dedicated to amateur photography. Created in 2009, it has grown in size and is held every year in the city centre. Its ambition is to make the general public discover the practice, while serving as a showcase for budding talents. Near Condom in the Gers countryside, the Foyers Ruraux du Gers organizes annual Gascon palet competitions. Whether you're a fan or just curious, come to Vicnau to play alongside twenty-five enthusiasts, or simply to discover this traditional sport! Here, sport and pleasure go hand in hand: it's a three-hour competition where everyone is rewarded. A firm favorite with Castrais residents, the Saint-Jean festival is built around the traditional bell-ringing of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Platé carillon, traditional instruments and music, and Occitan dances and songs. The farmers' market will be accompanied by music from the craba, the large bagpipes of the Montagne Noire, and the graile, the oboe of the Monts de Lacaune and Sidobre. Join in the great Occitan ball, with its farandoles and branles, interrupted at nightfall by the traditional bonfire around which the crowd dances to the sound of the Bufarèls!

For twenty-five years, the 31 Notes d'été festival has combined culture, heritage and tourism by offering free concerts, shows, fifty or so tourist and cultural visits and exhibitions throughout the Haute-Garonne. The objective being to create links, no less than 36,000 people gathered in 2022 for the whole festival throughout the department to experience moments of shared emotion.
