The estate produces exceptional wines that are regularly awarded in agricultural competitions. Château Barréjat won a gold medal at the Salon de l'Agriculture in 2020. The madiran and pacherenc du-vic-bilh wines are also cited in many specialized guides. Some of the plots are very old and this exceptional robustness allows us to obtain wines of great quality. Denis Capmartin shapes his vines with respect to tradition and terroir. He produces powerful reds and whites, either dry or sweet.

The Maison des Vins et du Terroir du Jurançon is a boutique, exhibition room and site of tasting and discovery. But what you'll appreciate most of all is that it is the largest store in the world of dry jurors and jurors with 150 references! In fact, it is an essential step in the Jurançon Wine Route, an association that has since 1986 brought together some sixty independent winemakers who own their wines themselves. This year, a beautiful new novelty makes its entry through two areas: the sparkling wine! You will also find a wide range of South-West wines, Béarn and Irouléguy and the madiran. Wine-growing heritage is the preserve but also the gourmand with foie gras, charcuterie, candies, cheeses, preserves, snails, honey, jams, pimps of the Béarn or Espelette and in 2017, a new range of local tisane. prepares and participates in many animations around the wine of course, including the Jurançonada, in the vineyards of Lapeyre, Camin Larredya and Clos Thou, but also organizes a school of taste and a school of harvest. Located in Monein, Clos Laplume is an estate that made its name with André Laplume. Some twenty years ago, he took over the family estate in decline and learned the trade on the job, self-taught. He was joined a few years later by his daughter Camille, who had grown up in the vineyards. With its production of exceptional wines and its exceptional gîte nestling in the heart of the vineyards, the estate embodies excellence and the art of living. Its magnificent reception hall completes the offer, providing the ideal setting for special events. Le Clos Laplume invites visitors to discover the passion for wine, the tranquility of the gîte and the elegance of its receptions.

Isabelle, Pascal and Philippe keep this estate alive with its 28 hectares spread over three terroirs. The result is a wide choice of appellations: Madiran, Pacherenc de Vic-Bilh, Saint-Mont and Côtes-de-Gascogne. Reds, rosés, dry or sweet whites, all palates will find something to enthuse about. The wines of the Domaine de Maouriès are regularly awarded in competitions and recognized by specialized guides. You can come and taste them on site and visit the cellars. You will then learn about the specificities of an HVE certified estate.

A modern spirit, a warm welcome from passionate professionals, a constantly expanding range of exceptional wines, regular events: the Cave du Palais is one of the best in Pau. In the country of Saint-Mont, Plaimont will make you discover wines with a typical Gascon character. Created in 1979 by the association of the cellars of Plaisance, Aignan and Saint-Mont, the name Plaimont is their acronym. In 1999, the Caves de Crouseilles and Condom joined the group, adding to the basket the appellations Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, Madiran and the IGP Côtes-de-Gascogne. The emblematic "vignerons au béret" have succeeded in preserving a parcel of pre-phylloxera vines listed as a historical monument. It is 200 years old and can be visited.

For all wine lovers, the Cave de Crouseilles is the place to be in the heart of the Madiran and Pacherenc Vic-Bilh vineyards. The panoramic view over the vineyards is exceptional, and you'll find direct sales of an impressive range of wines. The château site is a lively place all year round, offering events that combine the discovery of vines and wine, the cellar with a winemaker, the fête des Vendanges... and culture with shows, theater, concerts and exhibitions. A wine trail, vineyard walks and an escape game in the Chai round out the attractions of this fabulous venue.

Domaine Vigneau Pouquet is located in the town of Crouseilles, in the South-West region of France. Founded before the First World War, it is now run by Arnaud Vigneau. The estate cultivates around 20 hectares of vines, producing wines in the Madiran, Pacherenc-du-vic-bilh and Béarn appellations. The estate's wines range from still whites to still reds. Among our most popular wines are Clos de l'Église, a sweet Pacherenc with aromas of acacia, fresh almond and white peach, and Pur Sang, a deep, brilliant red with notes of ripe red and black fruit. Since July 2022, the opening of the Vinothèque des Vignerons du Jurançon has been a must for wine lovers, with the opportunity to taste and buy exceptional wines directly. Located just outside Pau, the vinothèque aims to bring producers and consumers closer together geographically, creating an authentic link between wine enthusiasts and Jurançon's artisan winemakers. The vinothèque offers a selection of 120 Jurançon wines. Each bottle reflects the local terroir, and expresses the know-how of the winemakers.

Domaine Bayard perfectly combines a passion for wine and the art of entertaining. As a producer of Jurançon wines, it stands out for its expertise and commitment to excellence. Carefully cultivated vines and traditional winemaking techniques produce exceptional wines. Enthusiasts can taste these wines in a dedicated area, discovering the full richness of Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng grape varieties. Tours of the estate and winery are also available. In addition to its viticulture, Domaine Bayard offers a magnificent function room ideal for private and professional events.

This charming 5 hectare estate, located in the Pyrenean foothills not far from Pau, is owned by the Arraou family. With a production that has recently left the Jurançon appellation, these talented winegrowers have taken their biodynamic approach and have launched a pure vinification without any input. In this eco-responsible winery, new experiments are developed such as the ovoid vat made of limestone and clay inspired by the ancient Roman jars and which allows an optimal micro-oxygenation. Sweet, mellow, dry, maceration or natural sparkling white wines are produced... With a particular focus on the Argile cuvée, which has already seduced the world's greatest tables.

Fernand Montaut took over the family estate handed down from generation to generation since 1877. A little like a magical painting, the Pyrenees stand opposite this residence typical inhabitant of Béarn. Between vineyards and vault, it employs time to take care of its vineyard extract the best form of grape and local. Each year has its own personal touch and is sharp in terms of praise like this Cuvée Prestige white, attractive, harmonious and balanced, which combines power and nervousness with a change in warm mouth. This is a family property of 25 acres including 10 planted in vineyard. Today it is the nephew Didier who invaded the estate on the side of the owner, Casimir Capdevielle. In a beautifully restored barn with a béarnaise sauce, you will find a large tasting room with a beautiful outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the vineyards, and a side room charmer with hints of the past. As the estate was organised for guided tours, seminars, tastings and the perfectly orchestrated meals... In the range of wines from the estate, discover, the dry jurançon, "Brise Océane" cool and refreshing, the soft "Breath of the South" fruity and bright, with the full and structured mouth, "Nobility of balanced Autumn" and personality, and slightly wooded "Rêve de Pyrénées".

Real English beer made in Bearn at 100%. Faithful to the tradition and to the unchanged production for centuries, Lindy and David have realized their dream with this brewery where, from malted barley, hops and English yeast, they have created blond, amber, russet beers and a honey blonde. Obviously, Macbeth is not far away, if you enjoyed the tragedy, you will enjoy even more the King Lear and its hazelnut finish, the Three Witches which, with its strength and intensity, will make your wishes come true, or the Damned Spot which ends on a hint of chocolate, much softer. Beautiful creations, in the right language but with a Bearn character, if any!

Here are two scientists who have found an appropriate reconversion! Pauline (spirits specialist) and Gauthier (oenology specialist) created in 2022 a very nice concept between a wine and spirits cellar of the world and a tasting area / wine bar. Trained and passionate about wine and spirits, these two globetrotters take you on their travels and their wine stories! We love listening to them talk about the vineyards they discovered, the winemakers they met or the cocktail recipes they put forward! Very nice, personalized welcome and the possibility of nibbling on a board in the cosy tasting area.

The world of beer has undergone a silent but delicious revolution in recent decades. In Pau, La Craft-Pyrénées emerged in 2022 and offers a menu focused on quality, taste and craftsmanship. The brewery likes to propose compositions with unusual ingredients, special yeasts, and unique brewing processes to create beers that are out of the ordinary. From hoppy stouts to exotic fruit beers, nothing is out of the ordinary! A selection that has won over the many palates of Palais beer lovers! Les Caves de Régusse in Pau, inaugurated on December 2, 2023, is a veritable oenological treasure trove in the region. Run by passionate Béarnaise Céline, the boutique offers an exquisite selection of wines from Domaine de Régusse (located a few kilometers from Manosque in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) as well as nuggets from other vineyards such as Jurançon and Madiran. Céline's warm and approachable welcome creates a friendly atmosphere where wine lovers can discover and taste Régusse's different cuvées. Immerse yourself in the refined viticultural universe of this Paloise address, where the savoir-faire of Domaine de Régusse shines through in every bottle.

Alain Brumont had the merit in his early days of creating a strong image for Madiran and Tannat, the appellation's king grape variety. For over thirty years, this winemaker of undisputed stature has been developing his 280-hectare estate, with an undeniable flair for communication. The underground winery built in 1988 is the first of its kind in the South-West. With 19 different wines, including the famous Montus and Château Bouscassé, Brumont covers the whole range of the region's wines: Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, Côtes-de-Gascogne and even chardonnay and pinot noir.

Located on a promontory surrounded by vines, Jean-Marc Laffitte's cellar stands out in the landscape just like his wine on the big tables. Here the production is ensured in family because the wine grower is accompanied by his children, Ericka and Joris. Multiple awards and laudatory articles in the specialized press have made this production famous. Three types of Madiran and two types of Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh are produced every year, with an excellent quality-price ratio for each one, which is the reason for their recognition in oenology magazines.
