Known for being the cradle of the lineage of the Albret, which was born Henri IV, the municipality of Labrit offers three marked walks of promenade and maintained by the General Council of Landes, accessible to hikers and cyclists. The smallest, also known as the "Pioc Road", stretches over 6 km, to travel in 30 minutes by bike or 1 hours on foot. She leaves the church to visit the Albret house and the famous castle of Labrit, classified as Historic monument. It then moves away from pine trees or meadows, and connects with traditional landaises houses. The second loop, 9,2 km, is feasible in 45 minutes by bike, while it takes 1 hour to take 11,3 km of the main loop.

At the beginning of the Loisirs leisure base, a discovery trail leads you to the encounter of the fauna and flora of this mountain. The first step of the journey is to take up to 50 minutes, before meeting the first information panels. They will inform you about the specific aspects of this mountain, such as the presence of the pottok, the typical horse of the Basque Country, the use of kaolin, or the pastoral tradition in Baigura. After 1 p. m., you will have the choice between doing half-turn or continuing on a larger loop, which climbs up to the collar and prolongs the two-hour walk.

Famous for its pepper production, Espelette also boasts a rich pastoral heritage. The farm trail invites you to explore this tradition over a 4 km loop on the Escondray plateau. The starting point is in Haranea, where you'll pass through a fern forest. Along the way, you'll have the chance to admire meadows and farms, and perhaps even come across some of the Basque country's most emblematic animals.

From the Bonaguil commune, this 9,3 km loop can be done on foot (3 h) or Mountain bike (about 1 h). It takes you to the Découverte Castle, classified as the Main Site of Aquitaine, and the GR 36 which links the ancient Périgord and Quercy provinces. It is by climbing to the castle that the trail begins, offering the possibility of a break to visit it before filling in the woods. The rest of the circuit is mostly located in the forest, with beautiful views of the Thèze valley and the castle. You will meet on the road several pigeonholes that deserve a stop.

On the road to Sainte-Eulalie-en-Born, near the Woolsack castle, the municipal golf course is open all year round. Between the lake and the ocean, this golf course is above all a friendly place in an area frequented by the people of Mimizan and tourists looking for a picnic stop. On the program: 9 holes, 25 practice posts including 5 covered with putting green, chipping green and pitching green. Ask about renting the equipment, as a license and a green card are required. Possibility of training courses and individual or duo lessons.

First self-taught, then trained at the Louis Lumière School in Paris, Stéphen Gorge has been passionate about photography for over ten years. Photo Talk is his brainchild! " I help people who love images to develop their skills and turn their personal projects into reality ," he explains. Introduction to water-skiing, towed buoys, water slides: it's all downhill, it's all slippery, it's all action and everyone has fun! A nice playground completes the site.

The "Marguerite" makes you walk around the town of Nérac by offering you 5 different loops, one of which is 4 km long. It is a golden opportunity to discover the region with your family, accompanied by the youngest and the not so young, because the walk is of a level accessible to all.

The Sentier de l'Adour is a 130 km hiking trail along the river. The route crosses 28 communes, alternating between left and right banks. There are several sections to choose from: Dax and Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, Candresse and Hinx, Préchacq-les-Bains and Gousse... The Adour trail leads from Toulouzette to Saint-Sever, then from Augreilh to Péré to Montgaillard. In short, there's a lot of walking to be done!

Bordeaux has its own professional ice hockey club, and not the least: the Boxers. Basque pelota is played in a special place, the jaï alaï. In Hossegor, it's a historic site nicknamed the Cathedral of Pelota. Basque pelota is a sport: the ball can reach speeds of 200 to 250 kph. That's why you need to wear a helmet if you're playing with a leather pelota. Discovery, initiation and improvement courses are organized for children and adults to discover the games of Chistera, Cesta punta and Pala. Competitions in Hossegor see the best national and international players go head-to-head.

Franck is a former surfing champion and professional coach for top-level athletes. So it's only natural that his own home, just a few hundred meters from the beach, has become a veritable surf camp. With his team, he takes care of teenagers (+ 11 years old) and adults for an initiation or improvement in surfing, stand-up paddle or bodyboarding. The courses are intensive (3 lessons a day) and are extended by recovery sessions in the 38°C hot tub and video analysis.

Opened in 1986, this golf course was acquired in 2022. It has been completely refurbished. The 18-hole, 5810-meter course still offers a splendid panorama on the edge of the Landes region, amid wooded hills, Buzet vineyards and bastides. At the gateway to Biarritz, you'll discover the Arcangues golf course and its exceptional setting, a favorite of professional golfers, created in the 1990s by brothers Guy and Jean d'Arcangues on the property surrounding the village. Set in a 70-hectare estate, the golf course, designed by American architect Ronald Fream, is part of the^2nd generation of courses on the Basque Coast. This magnificent golf course features some twenty holes dotted around a wild landscape. The Arcangues golf course hosts numerous competitions throughout the year.
