The eclectic Art Nouveau Gare du Midi has been completely renovated and converted into a Palais des Festivals with a capacity of up to 1,400 seats, for recitals, concerts, dance performances, plays, shows and even corporate events. Le Durango is one of Pau's oldest nightclubs, and it's fair to say that the evenings here are anthology. Here you're dealing with true nightlife professionals, and every night the Durango team gives its all to make your nights more beautiful than your days! A haven for rock music, over the last few years the club has taken a slight electro turn, the quality of which is a delight for fans. Special evenings with top turntablists follow one another, and some of the biggest names have set the dancefloor alight with their legendary beats. New Bowling des Pyrénées is both a leisure facility and a sports club, the BC Palois school-club, accredited by the French Bowling and Bowling Federation. With 12 approved lanes, the club offers sports bowling for youngsters in the minimes, cadets and juniors categories, and caters for children and adults alike. We can also organize your child's birthday party (up to age 12, 16 euros per head), which includes two parties, chocolate cake, sweets and unlimited drinks. It's also possible to dine on site at the bar-snack bar, from Tuesday to Saturday, for around 20 euros per person.

This is the place to be in the lively Halles district of Biarritz! The convivial, subdued atmosphere along the large, pewter-covered wooden bar displays the rations: Basque blood sausage, calamari, veal sweetbreads, homemade foie gras, pintxos and more. The former Strong Pub has changed ownership and it is now Jean-Luc, known as Lucky, who holds the helm of Monbadon HQ, accompanied by Alix. The pub, whose identity is gay, wants to be a friendly friend. Very good music and a good kid's atmosphere are in the program in a frame inspired by English pubs! A good plan for Sunday's aperitif: tapas is offered in addition to your drinks!

The adjective that doesn't fit this tapas bar and restaurant is static. The terrace has been enlarged to accommodate all fans of Iberian cuisine, including the famous pintxos (from 3 euros). Here, the produce is fresh and the cooking "home-made". Alex and Vivian also concoct the famous plato combinado with lomo or chipirons, fried egg, piperade, potatoes, salad and sheep's cheese.
